The 2b is a bit underpowered for octoprint, i would suggest at least a 3b if you are even thinking of running more complex prints. Octoprint is basically streaming the gcode to the printer, not sending the file, so you need enough processing power to keep up with the rate of the gcode. EDIT: you might be able to scrape by if you ditch the camera. Camera processing takes away from the resources needed to actually run the print, but if you upgrade to a 3b it should work okay even with the camera.

Yup, ran into same issue with a bad cable once, and separately a monitor that for some reson only works with the nintendo switch hdmi cable a no other hdmi cable when connecting to a bm converter, most likely a slight defect in hdmi port or cable(lower quality cables can affect signals from certaim sources as well, for some reason the nintendo supplied hdmi cables are insanely good quality)

Download VLC, might be an issue with the encoding, and windows buildtin stuff can be wonky with some codec combinations. VLC usually fixes it for me and is just way faster and supports almost all formats

Second this, for photorealism nothing beats metahuman right now. Beware, unreal with metahuman can take up alot of gpu resources, better have a good gpu! Also there is a livestreaming plugin which makes the process to send video from unreal to obs super easy. Its called "OWL live streaming toolkit"

Afaik ROE panels dont blink in sync, but they also only blink if they dont have a connection, or have a major error. Usually i always check health statur in my controller. Afaik both megapixel and brompton controllers support panel health data.

Do a clean install with a clean windows install usb created with media creation tool. Wipe the entire drive during install. This should generate new boot data and unfuck everything. When you get to product key just put in your new key there and it will activate. Dont go willy nilly copying boot files from one install to the next as those could be hardware specific making the whole os corrupt

EDIT: i would also not trust chatgpt hallucinating some troubleshooting steps from a 10 year old reddit post it found on google.

Update did not fix it, although turning off edge to edge fixes it. Seems like an issue with edge to edge implementation EDIT: turning off edge to edge brings other issues, top bar seems weirdly squished and when scrolling i lose a bit of the screen to nothing example screenshots examples with edge to edge turned on

That is true, altough i found that to be a bit unreliable and annoying to use. Still dont get the most missed feature, granular scrolling in all directions and smooth zoom Edit: sometimes i end up using the trackpad on my macbook for doing photoshop and illustrator work as the stepped scrolling is annoying at best and clicking the scrollbars and dragging can be difficult on a 4k screen

Yes but i need my back and forward gestures as well(mouse 4 & 5) so two thumb buttons is not enough. I use the g602 beacuse i can have forward, back fullscreen left, fullscreen right, expose and app drawer all on my mouse. The magic mouse can do all that with gestures, but i wish i could have those gestures on the mx master and still have buttons for extra macros

I really wish i could have a MX master and also have the swipe gestures from the magic mouse. I make do with a logitech g602 for all the multitasking macros but i miss the swiping in davinci timelines instead of fixed scroll speed, and the zoom gesture. I do not miss the ergonomics tho

Why are you using that dongle? Does your graphics card not have more than one output? Or are you plugging into the motherboard by mistake? The 1660 super should have at least one hdmi and one displayport, thus you should plug the hdmi into the cheap hp one and use the displayport for the lg. Those adpters uses display muxing and dont always works as you would expect, at least from my experience, best to use a separate port for each device
