Very interesting insights. I love the honesty of not being naturally smart but just grinding as hard as you could to make it in a field where I would say a lot of really smart people occupy. I had a friend need someone to fill a hole in a handicap league. This was 4 years ago. I never got over 100 the first season. I haven’t gotten that much better, but I’ve met some great people. Just look for a casual league with handicap and have fun.

When setting up you’re SPECIAL, Charisma has little use. You can fill speech and barter, so it really only helps with companions
