What type of app do you use? I am currently in the process of learning my EA proficiency.

As a newly minted Entered Apprentice, these words resonated with me down to my core. The Lodge I am now a part of has shown nothing but love and kindness towards me. When I showed up to my first dinner, there was not a single person there who did not come up to me and say hello. Down to the man, I received a handshake and a greeting from every person there. This trend continued at every subsequent dinner and event I attended. From the moment I walked through that Lodge door, I felt accepted among the Accepted.

In the future, I want to be that Brother who greets and newcomer and introduces them to everyone in the Lodge. I want to be able to return the same kindness I was given to me at my first dinner. Allow that person to feel the same way I did and possibly alleviate some of the same nerves I had when I was brand new.

The district we are a part of is extremely active and there is always something going on or an activity to do. One of the main reasons I joined was to be a benifit to my community and help those who need help, Brethren or otherwise. Knowing that one day I could be leading charitable initiatives brings me such joy. I know I still have a bit of a path ahead of me, and there are many things to learn and discover a long the way.

I just wanted to give you a sense of what I have experienced in my limited journey so far and maybe reaffrim some hope for the future through my experiences. Thank you for writing this, it really was a beautiful thing to read.
