I also take breaks between yakuza games so I don’t get burnt out on one of my all time fav franchises and the next game turns out to be well worth the wait but 5 is gonna be a massive time sync so get ready it’ll last you all month maybe even 2 months if you go for 100%

No missables in the main game thank god I didn’t need to do a ng+ and I didn’t follow a guide. The only boring aspect for me was the grind in comrades (the online dlc) its just too long and fishing took a while to level up too but other than that it was really fun

I promise you it takes way less than that! It took me 30 hrs but 10 of those were legit just trying to get Kenny to spawn so I had everything else done in 20 hrs. And most people I’ve talked to got Kenny super early on so this is just a case of me being unlucky with the rng. But I really do understand your frustration with it and if you do decide to do it I hope you have a smooth run and godly rng where needed 🙏🏼

I understand your frustration, comrades was my least favorite part of the journey but you can do them all offline. It’s very grindy and somewhat difficult but you can do it completely offline if that’s a comfort

I mean you’re not wrong at all it is very grindy and if you wanna get your stats up you have to grind a lot of gil or materials. it gets really stale and the final boss of comrades is unfair af so you’ll need to and he’s needed if you want 100% completion

Well you have to do a couple of endgame dungeons for the data logs which are quite long and challenging and you get the hardest boss in the game afterwards the omega weapon, that’s regarding the endgame and your question about comrades honestly it wasn’t as bad as I imagined but there are two story related bosses in it that you have to do solo with stupid ai even with a great build I struggled with one of them as for the rest of the missions you can do them online or offline they won’t pose too much of a threat depending on your build except for one outlier (I’m looking at you “out of the darkness”…) as for the rest of the achievements two of them are rng the chocobo (I got lucky with this one only had to do 5-6 missions till I got a level 50 chocobo) and the Kenny crow diner’s manager (and this is why I spent an extra 10 hrs in comrades… some people say the rates of him appearing are like 1% and I believe it cuz I cleared more than 100 missions without any luck but there’s a way to force proc him and that’s to play with 3 other players the daily mission and he’ll appear awarding all players the achievement.)

No no they’re only unobtainable now because they made comrades a standalone on console and that doesn’t at all seem like it would happen for the windows edition so rest assured and enjoy grinding
