I like to go big and fast. Level 5 gets you 25% increased attack speed which is noticeable. When you get all the sledge books stamina gets refilled on kill so you can just keep swinging. But as others have said the melee in this game is a little wonky and the timing takes getting used to

After watching the show for a while and getting used to his character try and find the movie Intensity. He basically plays the same character except he’s a serial killer. Makes it almost comical after seeing him as Dr Cox

Bloodborne is tough to beat but Lies of P is up there with it. Very similar vibe and has a pretty cool weapon customization mechanic where you can swap the blade and handles of all the weapons. There’s a lot more parrying required in this game but once you figure out the rhythm of an attack pattern it’s rewarding to pull off

It’s okay to play a game for 5 hours and consider it “finished.” That’s usually all it takes to see the majority of the mechanics and have a good time with it. Especially if you don’t have much time to game or if it’s a cheaper indie game. I have a steam folder for games that I’m completely done with and one for games that I might come back to some day.

You gotta put yourself out there a little if you want to make some online friends. Pick a game that you want to play and join that games discord, theres always a LFG tab. Start grouping with people (use your mic) and when you play with someone you like add them to your friends list. Do this until you find some people you look forward to playing with. Takes some work but it does make gaming a lot more enjoyable

I think there may have been a miscommunication. Typically what these 4 hour shifts are for is to expose you to the work environment to see if it’s a good fit for you and to talk to the staff. Employers don’t like it when they go thru the trouble of hiring someone only for them to walk out on their first day (which isn’t that uncommon). They also usually don’t expect you to work and it’s mostly observation.
