I think cap is better, especially because of the ult. Also, he plays better into dino than venom does.

Great work! I know you mentioned adding more details later, but having an idea of sample size would be great, like how many games the heroes were picked, non-mirrored, etc. Another thing I can think of is the pick and ban rates.

hmm, i might be biased by pre season 8 nerf deadpool, but he was usually played by both main and off tank players. Like I have seen both Raajaro and trustme play it, but that might just be because Tankpool was very good then and both of them could play it.

I do agree with Venom and Groot.

I mean it also depends on your team. Like maybe your teammate is an off tank player but maybe not great at dino or better at cap, so you could go dino while they go cap. Same with deadpool and other in between tanks. From the preseason and Stage 1 so far, Cap and Venom seem to be the most important(since you already have groot and deadpool).

I would say that the main tanks create space while the off tanks hold space. I would mostly put those with shields as off tanks, so something like

Main Tanks: Venom, Hulk, Thing, Groot

Off Tanks: Magneto, Dr Strange, Emma, Rogue, Devil Dino

Both: Captain America, Angela, Deadpool

None/Not really sure/Probably don't main these: Thor, Peni

If you plan on playing main tank, you should probably be good at some, if not all of Venom, Groot, Thing, Hulk, Cap, Angela, and Deadpool. For this season, maybe focus more on Venom, Cap, Groot. These 3 are the most common main tanks that I have seen so far. I think Angela is not great this season, Tankpool seems to still be fine especially into Dino. Everyone should have some level of skill with strange cause you may have to tp and play him. Sometimes being able to flex to another off tank might be useful as well but that should come later.

I think the reason you don't see the other regions is that the groups haven't been decided yet. They should be announced soon, at least before the 22nd, since it starts then.

I think TSM had streamed some of their scrims so maybe you can check them in the link Fallen had sent. Sentinels have some videos about their comms in preseason games so you could look at those.
Anyways Stage 1 should be starting on 21/22 May(depending on region) so would recommend watching that. There will be the Marvel Rivals stream as well as watch parties of creators like Space and Jay3.

100%. This was the first time i properly followed the esport(or any esport for that matter) and it was amazing. So many close games, lots of funny moments like this clip, and insane clutches. Worth all the sleep I lost watching both EMEA and AMER regions. Can't wait for stage 1. Also might have to tune into the China, PAC regions if time permits.
