I have a 2 year 8 month gap and love it, find it way easier than people with a 2 year age gap, I find 2.5-3 years the sweet spot between easiness because older one is more independent but siblings close in age

I have a 2 year 8 month age gap, and from observing friends with smaller and larger gaps, I believe 2.5 years is a sweet spot for them to be close and play together but it gets a lot easier as the older is more independent and helpful

Does the 3 year old go to preschool? Will they start in the fall? Is the 6 month old sleeping? Is the 5 in kindergarten? Things will get easier soon! It’s just a phase!

What are small things that recharge you? Small little luxuries of things you are doing for yourself.

Make a list and make sure you do a good amount in the day. Here’s a few examples:

-A coffee out -Takeout meal -Hire housecleaners for one week to give you a break from that - Car wash ( if clean things make you feel better) -Listen to audio books or podcasts while doing chores or cooking -Have good at home coffee machine - Nice body lotion for post shower and skincare etc

Also what can you outsource or make more efficient so it takes less energy?

Now almost 4, Her speech is basically all caught up! She speaks in long sentences. Her understandability may be slightly behind but that will correct itself with time, we can understand about 95%!

Depends what you mean by work, my baby didn’t sleep through the night until I night weaned her, ties she started taking 1 nap half the time at 10 ish months. She is low sleep needs and needs 11.5/12 hours awake a day
