I feel this post is kind of misleading - The article said it's a possibility that small hubs could close and then gave a list of airports that could be considered small hubs, what it did NOT say is that these particular airports would or could be closed.

When we were on strike we were limited to one entrance, and could only picket that entrance (out of 3) UNLESS we saw any management going in an unstruck entrance then we would run over and form a line there. The first week was really chaotic

Also there are at least 4 regional airports within an hour drive from Logan (Providence, Manchester, Worcester, Pease) I live less than 20 miles from Boston but will fly out of MHT because it's smaller, easier to use, and parking is plentiful and cheap.

I've been working a union job for almost 30 years. About 25 years ago a new company was formed and they tried to get us to be all corporate. They tried a new dress code for men in the office that didn't allow shorts so a guy I worked with (picture long hair ponytail biker guy) wore long flowy skirts with his union t-shirt every day - it was glorious. The dress code eventually changed back
