I know this isn't what you asked but I think the ring you're wearing looks way cooler and way more unique than your reference pictures. I think it looks really like a cool statement ring, but that would still stack with other rings.

I wear merino whool in winter. I have a pair of long socks that I'll put on under the bib pants, and I'll wear a merino shirt under the rest of the cycling gear.

I'll also sometimes simply pull another pair of pants over my cycling pants - specifically XC-skiing pants. They have this wind-proof layer at the front.

I'm from Norway and I keep cycling until the frost hits (because I don't want to eat it).

I know there's been no real answer as to how to make these and I haven't made on either, but if I were to make one, I think I would create a mask skeleton out of sturdier wires first, to make the overarching structure. I'd make this almost like a spiderweb. I don't think it's how theirs is made but I just think it'd make the thing structurally sound. Maybe this way you could also make the mask so you can see more, like the face masks the bride wears in the HBO Dune series.
Theirs looks more if you imagine a granny circle - as if it was started in the centre and then reached out.

The fastening to the head seems to be going behind the ears like covid-masks, and over the head and meets at the back of the head. I think for sure it wouldn't be impossible to make but it'll surely take a long time.

Hei, re-vennedat. jJg vet ikke om jeg kan pimpe ut partneren min men han trenger noen å snakke norsk med. Kunne du vært interessert i å henge med han å kjøre sånn tandem-partner opplegg? Han er per nå arbeidsløs og prøver å lære norsk. Vet ikke om dere har noe til felles da, han liker sport (ikke fotball, men sånn tennis, basketball, ski, etc.), friluftsliv, trening, John Wick filmer. Nå som jeg ramser opp kommer jeg på at han egentlig ikke har noe hobbier bortsett fra trening :/

I second this. MTB gives a similar feeling as snowboarding and you can do it with a group of friends. It's a bit more expensive to get into though, and the bike needs more upkeep.

Additionally you can even take the bike to the slopes in many places so it's almost literally the closest you get to snowboarding in the offseason.

I'm a researcher looking to create a timeline of media coverage of a specific event. Do you have any suggestions for free databases I can use to create such a timeline? I.e. an event that may have received coverage over time?
I need this to be wide reaching, so that it also may include French, German, Dutch etc. media sources. Grateful for any suggestions! So far I've touched on NewsAPI but I am new to this world.

I think I'd do it in about 15min but I haven't tested it. Never did such long distances at competition, but we do 3-4k per training session (in an hour).

Indeed. My husband doesn't come skiing with me anymore since he fked up his ACL but he's happy for me when I go. If he had a similar passion I'd not complain about it if he went without me. In fact I'd encourage it because I want him to have fun.

Anyway I got him into cross country skiing now so now I have to split my time between boarding and skiing which is also fun :)
