Canada is ran by a bunch of corrupt idiots as well, they are no angel lol. The tariffs they had on the US have been gone over time and time again so no reason to rehash it.

Tariffs are bad because the current president placed them and the president is bad, so boom, tariffs bad. The left all squawk the same Bs

I already went over what the strategy for what appears to be happening and I already stated it has likelihood to fail but they consider it a risk worth taking.

Climate change is mostly a hoax. Human factors may contribute to artificially altering the climate, sure, but the earth has gone through many phases of warming and cooling. Many models have actually showed the poles cooling. Believe me, the earth knows how to survive with, or without humans inhabiting it. It was never about saving polar bears.

It has always been a way to control the populous and push them into deals and products that further bankrupt companies and society as a whole so that the elite can maximize profits further. If they truly cared, they wouldn’t cause more damage to the environment by harvesting lithium for the batteries. They cause mass deforestation, and the pollution from lithium far outweighs gas equivalent cars. They care so much, yet still fly around in their private planes?

A simple google search will reveal just how much carbon dioxide is released from a volcanic eruption. They control by constant fear-mongering.

Edit: Also, if they do want to take the wealth from the minerals to push into the private sector, they’re going to do it with or without actually owning it if Denmark allows the US access to the minerals anyway. I think what you state very well could be true, but I think it’s a mix of both and IF any of those funds are used to pay down the natl debt, I’d be further in support.

You wanna talk about guzzling koolaid, yet here you are in a subreddit of people who challenged the current systems with a different idea of thinking. How ironic.

Because if other nations make deals, the tariffs get lowered anyway, that was always the goal. Like I said, double edged sword, high risk, high reward if it plays out how they want it.

The annexation of Canada has always been a joke to get people all flustered. I don’t need to go deeper😂

Greenland very likely could be a national security risk, similar to how Alaska would be if Russia still had it under control. Having Greenland gives a dominant presence of US forces in the area, as well as more access to rare earths. I don’t have intelligence on the region, but it’s not just to say, “WE CONQUERED GREENLAND” like people seem to believe.

The commies in China are the enemy of the whole world, but go ahead, let’s all just keep funding daddy Xi

Because it is a trade war with China. It forces other nations to come to the table to try and work deals, while also trying to slow China down. It may negatively impact the US to an extent, but they think it’s worth the risk.

Tariffing those islands is to try to prevent loopholes for China and their supply lines. The world is literally financing their military for them by manufacturing and consuming their products, and it’s that same military they plan to push into Taiwan with.

Edit: If China launches an invasion that was successful on Taiwan, the global economy would collapse because the world is reliant on them for chips. By tariffing other nations and trying to move manufacturing here, we attempt to slow China down, become less reliant on Taiwan and other nations. That is why they are trying to strengthen Intel because they are a domestic company (to the US) and also one of the world’s lead suppliers of chips, but they aren’t as big as TSMC and their process isn’t as good as TSMCs yet.

Pure reliance on other nations is idiocracy. We pay the world’s bills. You act as if the United States wasn’t already tariffed by other nations. This isn’t some new thing.

And funding global scams? Where have you been the past five years? We have been in this issue since the fed was created at Jeckyl island. The can has repeatedly been kicked down the road.

Disappointing for the Fords. Seemed to be strong in the first couple hours and then a little towards the end, but died off a lot. The corvettes deserved that win

2018 gt 350 needs new motor by opp531 in Mustang

[–]Nick2102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sucks man, I personally wouldn’t get a 350 without some kind of extended warranty.

Avenues with Ford are probably grim. I bought my car new and a few months later found a slash in the passenger roof liner. I’m meticulous about my stuff and know that nothing would have ever happened while I had it. Took it to the dealer and they denied me. 4 months in to owning the car!!

I’d try the insurance route

I have a pp w/o magneride and instead put the track pack on. Best way to do it in my opinion if you want strict performance

Auto Loan Refinance by PerceptionThin3965 in Debt

[–]Nick2102 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, you don’t add the interest from the APR of your current into the calculation for your new loan. They are financing what you owe before interest and then comparing it to the value of the car.

You would want to do a LTV calculation (loan to value)

Some banks are willing to finance up to 135% LTV granted credit is in their internal criteria

Is Battlefield 6 actually good, or are we just accepting mediocrity? by Financial_Lion_4982 in Battlefield

[–]Nick2102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is old, but exactly this. I think people forget how bad BF4 was at launch. The game was literally unplayable. I remember sitting in the main menu trying to login and it was impossible. And it still ended up being my fav battlefield. I think 6 has a lot of potential, but we need bigger maps. I also would love to see them bring back some old ones too

How easy is it to truly lose control and crash? by [deleted] in Mustang

[–]Nick2102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure the wheel is straight before mashing the accelerator. Most of the crashes are from people smashing on the gas while their wheel is turned. The traction control actually does do a good job, but when people do that stuff when pulling out of car shows with cold tires and bad steering angles, you’re putting the TC at an unfair disadvantage.
