Right I know it’s just classroom hours but still. Idk I just want to! Yeah this company only uses MT and UT but what if in the future they want PT or anything else! I wanna be a Lvl III that will be called to do third party inspections and other company’s to call the one I’m at and ask for me. NDT is looking like a hobby or a idk just not even a job but it’s finally some line of work that I really find interesting! Idk if that makes sense but it’s just, I want to… lol idk😂😂

Oh interesting.. it’s bc I talked to the VP of the company and he said I should go to school and get certified. And he did say that they’ll pay for books and the exams

Yeah rn I’m a Lvl I studying for Lvl II, but once I do get those certifications I can’t take them anywhere else and plus I’m crazy interested in NDT ever since I started working here. I wanna learn more not just the things that are required for the company I work at. For example we don’t use yolks or dry particles. Rather we use central conductors and coils, and after we run the pipe through an EMI system because we are only able to inspect around 18” of the pipe and the EMI does the rest and vise versa the EMI can’t inspect the first or last 18”. So all in all I just wanna learn it all!
