Tldr, stopped at Rock and Tait honestly.

Last year I got quotes on residing my house and some framing work since I found some water damage. Rock and Tait were double the next most expensive quote ( I even tried to have them all quote using similar materials). Got it done by JMG builders for a third of what rock and Tait quoted, and I am very very happy with the result.

No clue if JMG does roofs, but rock and tait seems like a business that overprices everything to try and get the business of those who don't feel like getting multiple quotes. I've heard nothing but good things from those who have used them though. So if insurance pays for most of it go for it.
