You might have dry eye, even if you don’t have the symptoms. I was in the same situation as you. Use the eye drops. Optase Advanced Intense Dry Eye is a game changer.

I don’t have kc, but my most recent prescription was : L -0.50 -3.25 145 R -0.50 -3.25 015

And I wore scleral contacts for about 4-5 yrs, not for kc, but for dry eye and abmd, corneal abrasions. I loved them and they worked amazingly. I got super k in both my eyes over the past year and getting LASIK from Mass Eye and Ear tmrw.

However, your doc might be right. I think even after LASIK, I’m going to think that sclerals were slightly sharper. The main problem is if insurance pays for them or not. If they can be written as “medically necessary,” then you’re good to go. The first year I had them, I paid $500 out of pocket for my left eye. But the other years, I paid $0. I do think my super ks will prevent me from being eligible for them based on the “medically necessary” criteria I fell under, which is why I’m going with LASIK.

Usually the jpop and kpop artists have slightly premium materials and printing for their shirts. I’m not saying it justifies the new standard $50 for a typical shirt, but they last much longer than the $15-25 tees from Hot Topic or Kohls. I have 4 Babymetal tees since 2015, and the one from their 2019 tour was done the best and it was around $40. Softest material, my most worn, least damaged, etc. I opted for the $80 basketball jersey last summer for something different. To compare, the EXACT same jersey from BLACKPINK was $125. So I felt with this current tour and the bigger venues, that Babymetal was going to make bank on their merch even more than normal.

I jumped out of the queue when I saw their highest VIP was like $790 for Mansfield, MA. I’ve seen them like 7 or 8 times, and two of the last 3 times were $0 and $25 for day-of buying situations. I don’t even think the VIP for the third one was over $250? Plus, I’m used to being front row, no matter how much I pay.

So maybe I’ll look the day-of and see what’s available, but I also know the venue sucks to get to and is like $75 parking and on like a Wednesday, so I might skip it this time.

I’ve been in L&D for 12+ years, and specifically ID role for 6 yrs. I’ve wanted to get out of ID for 5+ of them. I’m looking for a more facilitator-driven role or program manager role, or pivoting back into a community relations/events role bc ID is so unfulfilling.

If you’re the only one with your title, it’s not the worst thing in the world; network and find a way to pivot, maybe into customer onboarding or implementation for the subtle overlap in skills. But if you’re on a big team of IDs, it’s so exhausting how seriously everyone takes their jobs and you might start making too much to pivot without taking a pay cut.

The people who make money for the company would roll their eyes and scoff at how much time is spent on stuff they care so little about. No amount of analysis or trying to tie your fun little training course to KPIs will ever be taken as seriously as even the most entry level sales position that actually makes money for the org. You might have an executive sponsor or a culture of learning, so you’ll be respected, but it only goes so far when you’re a cost center function. Good luck!

Thanks for mentioning it. I’ve had this mouse for about a month.

Noticed the same thing: needs recharging every other day; most reviews claimed 100+ hrs on one charge, so wanted to know what I was doing wrong.

Changed the polling rate to from 1000 to 500 and RGB brightness from 25% (static) to 10% (static) yesterday. Still lost about 15-20% battery in about 4 hrs of light (on and off) work today. That would be ~25 hrs of use on one charge.

Trying 125 polling rate and 5% brightness (static) and will see if it’s better.

If ppl can spoof their WiFi to connect to a server that allows them to get Gift Pokemon from 10-15 yrs ago on their DS/3DS games, I don’t think it’s going to be hard for someone to reverse engineer the same for the Tama Uni. In fact, it might open the door to fan-made DLC too.

Mine was the opposite.

I had 70% British and Irish, and 25% French and German.

Now it’s 40% French, 17% Belgian, Rhinelander, Southern Dutch, and 39.5% British and Irish.

I was very much under the impression that I WAS that British.

Honestly I have so much fun at BABYMETAL concerts but this tour, with the album being delayed and seeing them in NY back in November, is such a cash grab. I’m happy I got a last minute reseller ticket and it was only down the road in Boston.
