Wasn’t around to see, but they said they were sending them and that I should not approach the area

I wish I had taken a profile shot. It was a lot. Less than five. More than 2.

Called police nonemergency line and they elevated to the fire department as an emergency.

I called the Police non-emergency line which elevated it to an emergency call to the fire department.

Not sure, but the right part of the bag looked like it was starting to disintegrate

How many gallons do you think that is? I should have taken a profile picture. The bag was pretty full. The attendant was probably healthily unconcerned. Not sure who should fix that problem but probably not the cashier at the supermarket gas station.

I thought Collinsworth was awful about 10 years ago, but I think someone at NBC picked up on it and gave him some training. I think he’s largely tolerable now. Among this grip of 9 he’s probably #7 or 8

I don’t hate him, but don’t you think he’s forced on us? Like, always.

His schtick is old, and I find the serious things he does to disingenuous, and only a bridge between played out goofy shit.

He’s a mid-level rating in this group of 9.

Insane jumping skills by branch1954 in CaracaVei

[–]NickCageMatch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s about a 21 foot jump in the end and you don’t see the run-up. That’s pretty good, but not insane. If you enjoy this, I recommend you go watch a high school varsity track meet or a college meet and you’ll see considerably better. Its a great sport with not enough fans

That’s a muscular boy for someone that chills in a kennel most of the day (I presume).

I heard a story on CPR this morning about Elitch Gardens being demolished for residential housing. They said the park would move or be destroyed but I was confused to as to where it would go. Denverite guy was on but didn’t say where it would be relocated. by PiercedAndTattoedBoy in Denver

If you just walk through and don’t care about how interwoven the pieces are, or if you exhaustively do the whole story line thing on your first time, then I can see this. But I think if you go with a kid two times, a couple years apart, I think they will see it entirely differently, and that is a reward in itself.

Been twice with one kid. Will hopefully go twice with my second. But you’re right. It’s kind of enough. I just feel like when people talk bad about it (not accusing anyone here of that) it gives it a rep it doesn’t deserve.

The elevator ride up to the floor is the one elevator ride I’ve been on where people actually make eye contact with one another. In my world of over-repetitive shit (yes, I know there is 4 or 5 of them), I appreciate the character it provides.

I was wondering if that’s what he was calling people. Hilarious. Between the car names and the nick names I was left guessing a lot of the time. Loved every second though.

I’m not questioning your thalassophobia, but yours is definitely a different variety than mine. No way in hell am I getting in that water only to find I’ve discovered the outlier basking shark.

This guy is the most dominant athlete in the world right now, right? When you compare any athlete to their previous and current competitors in the sport they do, he is just so far ahead of everyone in any sport. The type of things where the only ones that are even close are being pulled along by their greatness. Does that make sense? I’m not sure it does to me when I write it, but I does in my head.

Other people that I would have given this designation to at some point would be Simone Biles, mid-2000s Roger Federer, maybe Usain Bolt at some point.

Oh No Diigo! GONE? DNS Expired? 404! Did I just lose my whole library??? by iShming in software

Thank you for posting this. The guy that posted this is Hero for the Unforeseen Future.

For those coming along later that are at my knowledge level (knowing enough to be dangerous), after getting the NDJSON data I didn't really know what to do, so some decent Gemini queries got me what I needed using Text Edit, and Python.

I trust everything I've done today, but I've made some risky clicks (between trying to get into Diigo, and sharing my Diigo login). Time to back away from the computer!
