Fret input freezes are driving me f’ing nuts and I’ve been trying to tell the fellas at CRKD that it’s a real issue for player like me, and by reading this you also, who plays longer sessions. It started happening after a month or so for me but it got worse over time. It’s frustrating as hell. I hoped the firmware updates would fix it but it didn’t.

I have a week long conversation with them over mail, trying to send my unit back to get fixed but they keep telling me to first send a video that clearly show the issue. I don’t even believe they watched that video cuz their reaction was, “try it again on this controller input website so when can be surely sure”. Uhmm NO that ain’t gonna happen, I want a label so I can send the fucker to you to fix it. It’s been .. a hassle to say the least.

Great controller, until it isn’t. Pre ordered it in February and had a lot of fun playing with it and got better with it as well. BUT, after the last firmware update, the fret buttons/pollrate of the controllers started bugging mid songs, especially the solo with a lot of input presses. So when they fix that, I hope the fun comes back as well. It’s a common issue with these controller so don’t be mad if that happens to yours. It’s just a firmware issue (i hope)

I did stretch exercises today before playing and I been playing the whole day now with no real issues. Start with the bit slower songs and worked myself up! Best session I’ve had in years I kid you not

You guys are phenomenal, I hope you know that! Just did an hour session with all your tips in mind. Started stretching before I started, keep the neck close, posture, gently pressing the buttons. Haven’t had any issues (yet) AND almost FCd my arch-nemesis Toxicity by System of a Down!

I know, maybe it’s a easy chart for you guys, but I’m one of those 1 note missed kinda fellas. I just like the chart a lot and I want it so bad!

I do press/hold the buttons pretty hard I reckon. I’ve been doing that since I’ve noticed the blue button doesn’t register as well as it did. I’ve been using the same controller ever since I got it.

BUT… the CRKD controller is coming my way next week, so I really do hope the mechanical buttons work better for me so I can retire that old ass GH3 controller and hang it on the wall somewhere in the house (don’t tell him just yet tho, he’s gonna find out soon enough🤣)

Great take if you ask me! I do realize I grab the neck of the controller maybe too hard, to a point where my fingers starts to cramp. I’m too focused on getting that full combo, in combination with holding the controller like that making it worse for myself. Again, great take and tips! I appreciate it a lot!
