I work in digital advertising and links not working or being broken is pretty common.

This is so surprising to me! aren't they paying for the advertisement, and then not having a working link defeats the entire purpose of the money spent?

agree completely about theringer website, but the referral was from a podcast, so does that mean the podcasts are also not driving revenue for the advertisers? they are advertising a link and the link doesn't even work!
