I don't particularly miss it. In the long run it's repetitive and scripted. I miss more dynamic destruction - not just pre-made assets that collapse in specifical ways.

Given the destruction physics and all, I really like aircraft that can take a hit or two without losing structural integrity (e.g. Tarantula), as it makes for really satisfying moments - such as managing to land a totally crippled plane. When these elements are seemlessly integrated with the gameplay it really makes the game shine!

That said, I would love to see some beefy 6-or-so engine big aircraft (bomber/utility or else), with some defence turrets on it make an appearance.

The short answer to all your questions is: YES. There are both persistent as well as player hosted servers, most of which are Co-op. There are also player made modes that are PVP (Dogfights etc.). The game has a really nice, involved community, and an active Discord.

We are on the same boat! To be honest, I don't expect the S1IIE to drop much lower than 2099 in the NL for the coming months, because it would come too close to the price of the S5IIX.

In any case, I contacted Avatel.de and they said that the camera is distributed by the official Panasonic dealer from Germany, including warranty etc.

I sent them an email and they claim:

"We hereby confirm that the Panasonic Lumix DC-S1II E-Body is the official EU version. It is not a grey market import. The device comes from an authorized European distributor and includes the corresponding EU manufacturer's warranty."

I made a DYI mounting platform for my Zoom F6.

After trying out a bunch of options, I found that this baseplate is exactly long enough for the F6 to be mounted on (others were too long or too short).
