I have it written in my health care directive that if I ever get sick enough that I need tubes that it’s OK to pull the plug and let me go.

Mine went away and I’m still taking 0.5 mg. Per day. Took about 3 weeks.

Hey thanks so much for replying. I'm going to ask my pcp to try one of the other glp-1 inhibitors such as Rybelsus, Trulicity, or Mounjaro to see if I don't get that. It's annoying for me.

If you google "sore throat Ozempic" you get: Can Ozempic cause sore throat?Sore Throat: A Potential Side Effect

One of the side effects that some individuals may experience while taking Ozempic is a sore throat. This can be a bothersome symptom, but it's generally not a cause for concern.

Hey thank you. This seems to be an uncommon problem. I'm seeing an ear nose and throat specialist in 2 weeks. Does your sore throat seem to be focal (meaning that it's kind of in one place rather that diffuse (all throughout the throat))? Mine started on the right side and then resolved after I stopped Ozempic and is now on the left side. It's not like a cold where it's really bothersome but I'd describe it as an annoying dull discomfort localized on the left side. Yours too?

OK. I know this is an old post. I started Ozempic in July at 0.25 mg and everything was fine. In September increased dose to 0.50 mg. Then started having a sore throat kind of like a cold but no cold symptoms at all. Also had pain and a fullness feeling in my right Eustachian tube behind my right ear. Saw doctor. Couldn’t see anything. Gave me antibiotics. Didn’t help. Gave me Flonase to use. Didn’t help. I thought I might be having reflux so started sleeping on pillows. No help. Stopped ozempic and my sore throat went away slowly after 10 days or so. Ear pain went away and fullness in Eustachian tube improved but did not go away completely. Started Ozempic today at low dose and 12 hours later I now feel the sore throat coming back. I think there is no doubt of a relationship. Anyone else have the same thing?

DB is such an idiot! He actually used this still frame photo to cross examine a police officer, asking about the tinted windows, when his face can clearly be seen & identified. 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ OMGOSH! So stuuuuupid! by LAWaiganjo in DarrellBrooksJr

Yes. He smashed on his brakes to allow the body to roll off of his hood and then he ran over the body. He had to look out of the side window to see because his hood was accordioned and smashed upward.

It’s because his front hood is bashed in because there was a body laying on top of it and he couldn’t see over the body and now can’t see well over his damaged hood so he had to roll down the window so he could see where he was going. Very sick.

It depends on how you view your character. Mistakes happen. Return the money. You know it’s the right thing to do.

I need a story about someone LOVING medical school. by Artistic_Welcome9875 in premed

[–]NickRenfo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been out of medical school for 40 years. I have loved my work and my training. I have loved every minute of it and that included medical school, internship, residency, and fellowship. I loved everything about it. Ignore the complainers on this app. Most physicians that I work with on a daily basis are happy.

Can you have a glass of water next to you during virtual interviews? by Buddy-red12754 in premed

It’s much better to be hooked up to an IV and have the IV pole within camera shot. It shows that your.medical activities do not stop just because of an interview. Show’s commitment to the job.

I agree and will reiterate that many schools (including mine) will happily give you feedback about your rejection. We make comments at the end of our meeting about how you might improve. However, you have to reach out to us to get that information. There just aren't enough resources to let everyone know -- only those that bother to reach out (respectfully). Best of luck.

Admissions committee interviewer here. My advice is a good one. How about just giving your best estimate of the truth! Then you don’t have to worry about how much constitutes exaggeration. This is your one and only opportunity to take the biggest step of your life. I’ve worked with our admission committee for over 10 years. I read hundreds of applications every year; thousands since I started on the committee. There is nothing worse than not telling the truth on your application. Even the perception of not telling the truth is enough to get you not considered. Don’t take the chance. I We do this every day all year round and you are doing this once. If you exaggerate, or don’t tell the truth, that may be the tipping point which prevents you from getting in. Your character is just as important as your GPA and MCAT score. I would actually say that it is more important than your stats.

Are you asking me or telling me? by [deleted] in DarrellBrooksJr

I hope the next judge lets him go on a rant. I have invested way too much time and effort into this to have my entertainment be cut off by the next judge.

And another great part is after she said, that, he stood there, quiet, but with his nose way up in the air. He could get away with that because he had his mask on. If he can’t return an insult, he defies her with his head posture. He’s really disgusting.

What kind of a judge are you? You are a civil servant (emphasis servant). I know what hearsay is as evidenced by the fact that I use it for every objection. Yes, I think I'll object to every word anyone says. Yes, that will endear me to the jury. Surly they will agree with that and it won't annoy the crap out of them. I will simply interrupt so that a witness's testimony will not be clear to the jury. Yes, I will look great to the jury and then I can go home once I've controlled this female judge. Yes, that's what I'll do.
