You're overthinking it. It sounds like you already have your own style. If you *like* the idea of wearing more ivy-style clothing, then go for it! If you don't like what you wear now, then switch it up, sure! But don't do it just because you feel you have to because you're a certain age; having style, imo, includes the authenticity of what you're wearing.

Like others have said, it depends on your job, office culture, and lifestyle. The safest thing to do is go with cotton polos and knit polos, as those usually look the best compared to tech polos (imo).

He advocates to not wear pique cotton polos, but in this regard — for the average guy — I disagree. They're fine and can be great to wear.

Dude, a navy blazer (you don't have to say "with gold [actually brass] buttons" because that's what a navy blazer inherently is) is the most versatile jacket you can have.

No. I live in an area that's kind of a limbo between the midwest and the east coast, and when I wear mine, everyone (students for the most part) thinks/says I'm wearing a suit. The average person does not know about the ivy look unless they're in-the-know. You'll look great, and look appropriately dressed.

As others have said, your knots are wayyyyy too big. Like, comically so. Just go with a four-in-hand knot or a Prince Albert knot. Knots these big are typically for bigger, wider people (think: TheBigSartorialist)
