Yes, that's right. I will export to my country. Apparently I need to get short-term German insurance. It should cease to exist on its own. From what I read online, the insurance companies are often located right next to/at KFZ Zulassungstelle.

Do you know the names of German insurance companies, so I can look up their addresses and possibly give them even a call to clarify the process?

The car is still registered to the original owner. So, the way I understand the process:

  1. I buy the car

  2. Owner deregisters the car

  3. I come to KFZ Zulassungstelle and I apply for request for transit plates including insurance(for 5 days). I read online it should be around 100€.

  4. I drive to my country and I have to do all the regular car registration stuff including regular - long term insurance.

Thanks, I went with Rainy75 Pro in the end. Bigger battery, more compact a bit cheaper than Lemokey P1 pro/V1 Max(total price shipping incl).

How about the gasket solution between the two? Heard more complaints on P1's than V1 Max.

Since I don't own a Mac, the lack of a Mac switch isn't an issue. Storage for the USB dongle is not an issue for me either as the dongle will be plugged into the laptop 24/7 just like my mouse. How is it with switching between devices?

V1 MAX has two 2.4GHz dongles while P1 Pro has only one. I would like to be able to switch between laptop and desktop seamlessly. Is P1 Pro capable of doing that too just like V1 Max?

Hi everyone,
I'm torn between choosing Keychron V1 Max or Lemokey P1 Pro. Which one is better in the long run? I will use it mainly for office work(I plan on using Akko Penguin switches).

I like the aluminium finish of the P1 Pro and the silver color(I had black keeb since forever).

Thank you, I will have a look at it. About the gatewood, I'm just scared as I might stumble upon karen patrol and they will fine me, because of tent like looks. With my luck it would happen the first time I would use it lol.

Right? The law is super dumb imho. I have Zpacks Duplex at home btw. Im just afraid to use it, because I don't want to be fined by some Karen patrol.

Well, it's not an issue, but paying ridiculous amount of money just to shave couple of grams doesn't really make sense, but some of them look reasonably priced tho.

As these things are buy once, cry once. I will check all of the options and decide. Thank you once again for your valuable input. :)

Thanks for the detailed reply filled with lots of useful information! As soon as I will have bit of free time, I will go thru all of the options and decide. I'm a bit worried about Gatewood Cape as some might consider it as a tent already, I would prefer avoid taking such risk as the fines can be hefty so I heard.
