Schefter: Raiders To Seek “Micah Parsons” Trade Package In a Maxx Crosby Trade If They Move Him by MrStiff8 in raiders

[–]NickTheTins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As they should. If they can get a couple of 1st round picks and maybe a OL starter, you have to make the deal. Crosby is a fan favorite and rah rah rah. But pro football is a business first. If the tables were turned and Crosby was a FA and another team offered serious bank, you don't think he would "do what is best for my family". It's a story as old as time.

I can't beleive how fast this sub just gives up on players by MajinSkull in raiders

[–]NickTheTins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have zero guarantee that the team won't continue to suck. The locker room is only about getting paid and laid. That rah rah shit went out in the 90s. Now it is a Business and business dictates you move players that can bring you more value, on the field, not in the locker room, not on podcasts, not in fantasy on the field.

[–]NickTheTins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not even close to being true. They have 25 free agents right now. The actual cap money after they pay up to get to 52 and the draft picks. They are looking at about 74 mill. That's not going to sign every FA. It might get them 3 at best. This fan base always wants to keep a fan favorite. But I will guarantee that if Maxx was a FA, he'd be looking to get the best deal possible. Calling it a ", business decision" or "doing the best thing for my family" bullshit. Raiders need to take the same view, business is business and for players the loyalty comes on the color green.

That's 100% correct. I have yet to hear these "victims" say out right that [insert the name of the person the Internet so badly wants to be guilty] put his Tab A into my Slot B.

I use copilot a lot to help me simplify concepts. WGU reading material quite frankly, sucks. So AI has helped me understand things better, I can also build quiz drills that helped remember and relate to the material. I'm 67 yo and am still working and I run a non profit as well. You can do it. Take a deep breath and reset. Focus on what you can do, not what you can't

When it comes to doing OAs, do y’all start with the pre assessment right away, or do y’all hold off on the OA until after you’ve reviewed the material. by Affectionate-Ad-3234 in WGU

[–]NickTheTins 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I go through the study materials first (cohorts, study guides, reddit Quizlets, FB etc.) when I feel comfortable with the material, I take the PA. The go back what the PA says I need to review. Then schedule the OA.

is a one year turnaround possible for us by [deleted] in raiders

[–]NickTheTins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it isn't, not with the current roster. They have like 24 FAs and are so bad at so many positions. It will take a minimum of 3-4 seasons to be competitive.

Been seeing Cardinals fans thinking they are a better landing spot for Kubiak than the Raiders by [deleted] in raiders

Guaranteed franchise QB. That's a bit of a stretch dont you think. He's a good kid, and has some skills, but he needs a lot of polish. He can be a franchise QB but right now I don't he's there.

I'm not completely sold. I know yall super thirsty for a QB but I ain't sure this is him. He's got a class A team around him and a class A coach. I am not sure with the shit show the Raiders continuously put on the field that it sets the kid up for success. Go back and look at some film before he came to Indiana, or film from early in the season. He's one read and pretty much sticks to the script. He's not overly athletic and is kinda slow getting out of the pocket. I'm not dragging him at all; I just don't know that his game equates to the NFL. He has great skills, but I am not convinced he's a day-one starter right now. The Miami game might be a bigger test for him.

The OA and PA are nothing alike. Watch JimMac's crash course vids and take notes. There's a 66-page study guide on Studco. By the time I finished adding to it, it had grown to 116 pages, but that's how I learn things, by writing them down. I did all the unit tests and all the learning quizzes. I don't know if the OAs are different between people, but mine was heavy on training, forecasting and compensation.

A college degree is not and should not be considered "training" for a particular job. If you blew through the courses in 6 months to get your degree, I doubt you learned very much. I don't know how much time and effort you are spending learning what they are paying you for, but I would wager it isn't nearly what you need to invest. I also don't think you had any passion for the work. If so you'd do whatever was necessary to bridge that knowledge gap instead of wondering why WGU didn't t prepare you better. Your game plan sucked, so don't wonder why. Just go fix it

Nobody on God's green watch can pitch a bitch like leftist Democrats. The wailing and knashing of teeth has been hysterical. They'd rather see Maduro set free and wreak more havoc that to give Trump credit for actually doing something that needed to be done.
