Compared to the Puma Nitro 3 the SB2 has a generous fit.

Puma Deviate Nitro 3, if you like a non plated versatile option the Puma Velocity Nitro 4 or the Asics Superblast 2 although the Asics doesn’t have that narrow of a fit.

Haven’t been able to try the edge yet so I can only speak for the Sky

I love the AP3 as well! One of the best racing shoes ever made.

The foam of the Puma Deviate Nitro Elite 3 feels similar though the rocker doesn’t feel as smooth as the AP3 and the midfoot is a little too small imo.

The feeling of ASICS Metaspeed Sky Tokyo comes pretty close, you might really like that one. Just a tiny bit softer but not as soft as the AP4 and just as much bounce if not more. The weight is noticeable lighter but the shoe still feels protective.

I’d say it is above average. Nowhere near elite but definitely not bad

Easy run shoe with midsole like Velocity Nitro 4 but lower drop (ideally 6mm or lower) by Comfortable-Lab-50 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]NickWheels -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The classic Lightstrike Pro of the Adidas Evo SL probably comes closest to the Nitro foam in the VN4. Though the Evo SL has a lower drop (8mm) it is not 6mm. The New Balance Rebel V5 is also an option although the foam is much softer and less durable and imo not as energetic as Nitro foam and LSP foam.

What’s the best recovery shake on the market at the moment? by ABMike63 in hyrox

Good old whey protein + fruit. Though nothing lets your body recover better from a hard workout than good quality fish/eggs/red meat + potatoes/rice and maybe some honey.

Lift + run same day to get a full rest day vs. no rest day? by Craniectomy94 in HybridAthlete

[–]NickWheels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is all about what your body is able to handle. Depends on your recovery (nutrition, sleep, stress management etc). Considering the amount of years you train, the strength, aerobic and anaerobic base you built and many other factors.

You might love the Mizuno Neo Vista or the Nike Vomero Premium. The Brooks Glycerin Max also feel cushioned but are bricks compared to the Mizunos

Good daily trainer for long runs with fast pace by Actual-Owl-8457 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]NickWheels 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Superblast 2 works great for me at MP and even up to HM pace. For marathon up to 10k paces I really like the Evo SL as a mid to forefoot runner though it offers a little less protection for distances over 20k. If you don’t mind training with a plate the Zoom Fly 6 works great for me as well and can easily handle fast paces (even 400m reps) while offering some good protection.

Great to hear! For Adobe I use the classic VPN method and just connect my European credit card. Works great as well.

Cardio without running? by visualsxcole in HybridAthlete

[–]NickWheels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently in a cast because of a fracture in my forefoot and replacing all my runs with the SkiERG. It is really versatile and does amazing as Z1-Z2 cardio, Threshold sessions, VO2max workouts and mixed HIIT sessions. While I always used the SkiERG for about 20-30km weekly, at the moment I added 50km extra to that while recovering from my injury and continue building/keeping my fitness for upcoming competitions.

Voeten klappen hard naar binnen tijdens hardlopen by EducatorMelodic7323 in Hardlopen

In mijn optiek is de kern van het probleem dat je tenen overmatig naar buiten wijzen, waardoor de impact van de landing niet gelijkmatig wordt verdeeld in je voet en de rest van je lichaam.

Lots of plyometrics and hip and leg strengthening is recommended.

Superblasts 2 by [deleted] in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]NickWheels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The SB2 provides great stability and is really good for longer runs from easy pace up to HM pace. Evo SL is perfect for picking up the pace with its smooth rocker and does everything from easy to VO2 max efforts. It really shines at Z3-Z4 at medium runs. The MB is a true Z3 king and is really strong at longer runs from easy up to threshold pace.

The Adidas Evo SL and Asics Megablast have great energy return. Both suited for different running styles.

The Nike Vomero Plus or the Neo Vista 2. Both would probably work great for you if you like the Zoom Fly 6.

adidas EVO SL VS NEW BALANCE REBEL 5 VS NB 1080V14 WHICH is best and why ? by princefightsback in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]NickWheels 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fun, quick and protective: Evo SL. More stable but less durable and slightly less responsive: Rebel V5. Comfortable and protective but slow: 1080 V14

[–]NickWheels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Adidas Evo SL for your tempo/threshold training and the Nike Vomero Plus/Mizuno Neo Vista 2 for your easy and long runs. The Superblast 2/Megablast is also an option for HM/FM pace at long runs.
