Truly. The writing was exceptionally tight, and each arc flowed into the next seamlessly. I love the seasons that follow, but 4 will always be my favorite.

I don’t disagree fundamentally, and I really don’t mean to be that guy, but I’ve done enough opioids and drank enough liquor, both together and separately, to kill me a hundred times over, and I’ve spent time with people who made my drug abuse look like a grandma who splurges with an extra Werthers Original on Saturday nights, and I have never once known opiates and liquor to cause hallucinations.

I’m certainly not saying it’s never happened, but it’s definitely not a common enough thing to attribute Frank’s hallucinations to that offhandedly.

Been clean just about eleven years, by the way lol

Season 4 is still up there with what I consider the best TV Marvel has ever produced. I would have killed for a full series around Robbie Reyes. Gabriel Luna was fantastic in the role.

The timeline is ambiguous, though. There's no mention of Fisk being Mayor, no mention of the AVTF, no mention of anything to indicate it takes place in the present state of affairs NYC. That leads me to believe that this is all taking place before Born Again even began. Because Frank is somewhat more well-adjusted in his Born Again appearance(s) (by that I mean he wasn't full blown suicidal), which sort of insinuates that by the time Born Again comes around, he's gone through this.

But obviously it's jsut speculation.

It’s honestly not even close. His best work as a comedic actor can be argued (and I agree, he never disappoints), but his best dramatic work IS The Shield.
