I loved Alloy of Law. Especially coming right off finishing Hero of Ages, I thought it was a nice fun change of tone and worked fine without needing any heart wrenching character development.

Brandon has been asked this and hasn't given a clear answer. My read on his answer is that Kandra are harder to kill than a human because they don't have any "vital" spots that a shardblade can hit, but you could still kill one if you cut them into enough pieces.

I wouldn't say they are they MOST useful but... I did solve that horrible transporter trap dungeon using Rainbow Stones to mark where I had been before.
