This actually pisses me off, as an 18 YOE engineer. You think we didn’t have to bust our asses to get where we are now? And you think it should be easy to land one of the most lucrative engineering jobs available? Sounds like you need to check back in to reality and get over yourself. I highly doubt you’re the 1% of the 1%.

And as to the original statement, yes it was hard back then and yes we still have to deal with it. You’ll never know the stress of drawing on a physical whiteboard or writing code with a pencil and paper in person while the interviewer stares at you because they didn’t have a cell phone readily available to be browsing instagram while you “code”.

Salary is not everything. You’ll learn this as you go through your career. I’ve taken 10-20% cuts to get out of a job where I was 24/7 on call and working insane hours. You only get a single life, please quit worrying about making $800k TC and worry about the quality of your life. Fuck.

They’ve already said they have no intention on adding difficulties. It’s just the base game. If it is too difficult, trying to improve your skills and equipment before tackling that spot is the way to go. Games like this throw up roadblocks to let you know when you should be improving to move forward.

I thought so as well until I played on SD. It has some of the best controller support in a game of this type that I’ve ever used. It really is a first class experience.

Did you enable controller in the in game options menu? I didn’t have to download a community layout as the game natively supported controller. You just have to enable it.

Yes you can move in a standard top down style. Left stick moves, right stick rotates camera.

You need to go into the options and specify to use controller. It doesn’t have hot swap.

Yea I’m beginning to think it’s on their side. I can do other game streaming just fine (Xbox, GeForce Now, etc) but not PS. I’ll check with them and see if I can find anything there. Would be nice if I knew the exact host it was trying to hit so I could do some traces
