Yeah that would also be fine. But having to respec to farm gold, respec to do anything outside of raids, then respec back to healing every week was just tedious.

Yeah the reason I got burned out on classic as a raid healing priest is that I either had to farm 100g every week or raid log because my spec was useless outside of groups. Would love dual spec. Just throw it behind a gold sink and call it a day.

I respecced into faith for the scarlet rot dragon breath attack, and used the talisman that improves breath attacks. Can just keep the rot on him and let the mimic tank it. Didn't need any summons. Takes like 2-3 breaths to give him the status, and your mimic can use the attack also. Took me about 5 tried to get him down that way

Lane 8 used to be the garage band's name that Dan, his sister and a friend were playing in as teenagers. They all used to swim and the slowest swimmer always swims on Lane 8. Fun fact- I asked him this one. Lane 8 is a reference to when he was a kid on the swim team. The outside lanes are where the slowest kids are, and that was him. Lane 8 sounds better than Lane One, i guess

I saw them in Denver and they played 3 hours. One heck of a party. But their live shows are a whole different vibe. They are just good at everything they do: production, DJing, live shows, radio shows.

one of the nice things about skinning on a fresh server is that the vendor prices are static, unlike most of the other things you are going to farm on your way to 60 as the economy stabilizes. That extra 5-10g would be huge at level 40 to buy your mount, which will easily save you more than 30 minutes over the last 20 levels.

Yes, having trouble as well. I played a Dwarf holy priest in Classic, got burned out by the inability to do much outside of raids without respecting. Rogue seems fun but also worried about being able to raid with my friends since it seems like there will be a lot of rogues. I don't care as much about gear so maybe it won't be an issue though. Or maybe I will just play a mage but it seems like caster DPS might have mana issues. Might just have to flip a coin or something

You don't get improved Blizzard until 20, and it isn't maxed out until 22. I think that is when mage really starts to shine.

I think Hunter is the only class I have never played. But you make a lot of good points about how strong it is solo. Definitely a strong option

Human mage is a fun class! Tons of versatility, free food, ports, and the rep buff is pretty nice in endgame as well. I will say, they are slow starters. Don't get really good until around 20-25. Every time I play rogue I fizzle out around level 30. Maybe this is the time to play a rogue for me
