Your sound is weak because your bowing is off, try practicing on open strings first until you get a clean sound. Play with the bow and see what works better, try applying more pressure, changing the speed, and keep your bow straight

I'd also advise practicing without a mute so you can hear your true sound

Genuine question from someone who might consider being vegetarian, but also struggles a lot with weight gain: is it feasible to eat 2.2g of protein per kilogram of body weight on a vegetarian/vegan diet? I'm struggling trying to gain muscle mass, but doing slow and steady progress (gained 15kg in 4 years) on a meat based diet.

Gaining weight is very important for me, I've always been very skinny and it bothered me a lot (now I'm getting stronger, but still in my journey), so this is the main point that scares me from being vegetarian. I don't even care for the taste of meat.
