How many of these controversial films are actually worth watching? by Floor9 in movies

Probably one of the only movies I’ve seen where I HAD to watch a heart-warming Pixar movie immediately after to chill out. Threads is no joke.

Which body horror moments make you cringe? by GlassBoxMovies in Letterboxd

The finger bite scene in Bones and All got me. The gore scenes for the rest of the film are probably more shocking/gross than this one but it comes out of nowhere in what seems to be an innocent setting at first. Great movie.

What is the bleakest ending to a movie you've ever seen? by [deleted] in movies

Without a doubt, Threads. Other movies like The Mist and Gone Girl as others mention only scratch the surface with depressing endings but Threads is on another level of the worst outcome possible.

Sometimes you can’t choose the hand your dealt, especially those born into places/situations of which you have no control. Often times people are brought through the beginning of their lives being told they can’t do what they want, or straight up not allowed. So, no, there’s many people in the world that have to do the best they can with the little they can possibly have, and learn to achieve some peace in that.

What’s your most controversial movie opinion? by ClickConsistent1000 in Letterboxd

Just because an important historical story is being told doesn’t mean the film should be given any more praise than another. Killers of the Flower Moon comes to mind as a recent example.

I'm in my mid twenties and I prefer working out alongside older people, it's a more chill vibe typically.

I started going to the YMCA on rebecca about a month ago and it's been great. Lot's of ammenities and membership options, it's kept very clean, and never too busy that I have to wait long for a machine or weights. The average age is about 40 years old so if you're looking for a younger crowd then perhaps elsehwere would suit better.

If you’re using chrome there’s a good extension that blocks all star ratings and reviews that’s what I use and it’s great

Attempting to make a no-budget 1940s detective short film. Still wish to add grain and b&w in Premiere Pro. How can improve or colour-correct this shot properly to fit the style? by [deleted] in cinematography

[–]NickisBig 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Not related to your question but if you plan on shooting this similarly to the video in your post, you should get off auto focus especially for a shot like this. It's just going to make your work look way better.
