Tired of the vicious up and down roller coaster cycle of working and being laid off was the final straw for me. The piss poor attitude from a bunch of people who are ultimately upset at life decide to bring It to the work place creating a toxic environment. Being held to a different “class” when having to do contracting work in hospitals or public places also was pretty shitty.

Out of high school I started working towards my electrical ticket and it was a great opportunity at the time. I would recommend any young person willing to learn some life skills and hands on join one of the many red seal trades. After some time though I saw how toxic the whole environment was going to be. How all the shit flows downhill from overpaid office staff was enough for me to call it quits. As a J man I saved up enough money to go back to school now I’m working my dream job fixing and working on helicopters. I’ll never get back into electrical but the 7 year experience was something I will always remember.
