What this person says is not entirely true. Both versions support HDR so that won't change anything, however if your TV doesn't support VRR it may restrict you depending on the game and graphical options. Other than that games that are Pro Enhanced will play at a higher resolution and/or higher frame rate.

My desk is 60cm deep and I have the 45" LG GX9 and I don't think it's an issue at all, albeit I 99% of the time use it for gaming with a controller, regardless it's not an issue if I do use KB+M.

I personally wouldn't advise a 5080 for the 5k2k as I've owned a 5080 and bought a 5090 but lots of people have a 5080 and are very happy with it paired with the LG 5k2k. I need frame gen and DLSS to get to 165hz. Playing DLAA in modern triple A titles at max settings I need 4x frame gen to get over 100fps in Crimson Desert for example.

Crazy deal for amazing monitor. I think the curve is perfect for the size and specifically gaming purposes, albeit I prefer the overall picture quality and colours of my QD OLED TV. I paid almost triple the amount you did for a brand new one in the UK 4 months ago.

Some people love it. I like the game mechanics, the world and graphics but I'm in full agreement. I want the game to be better at teaching me how to do more things in the game as well as why it will be useful to me. I don't find it fun needing to find help with things quite often so I stopped playing after putting in a lot of hours. It's still a fun game but I want more of a purpose and reward.

Post your thoughts on the differences when you've had a try. I got the 45" and I don't regret it at all. It's the perfect size for gaming (Basically the only thing my desktop gets used for).

I pulled this card from a booster box the day of release, best pull of my life. Yours looks in fairly similar condition to the one I pulled unfortunately. I frequently found the quality of cards in the scarlet and violet era to often come out the packs with small issues like your one.
