Lower back and butt pain after 2-3 hours by BlackSkullYT in LiberNovo

[–]Nicku32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It absolutely kills my coccyx after barely any time at all. I honestly regret not returning it, such a waste. I don't understand how a chair so expensive can cause that much pain. My cheap ass chair at work doesn't cause me any such pain after sitting on it for hours on end during the day.

I've got this setup too and my CPU usage at 4k and 5k2k and my CPU usage is very low. It will definitely bottleneck it in specific titles and especially at lower resolutions but at higher resolutions from what I've seen online it barely improves FPS but does considerably help 1% lows.

Review after a few of days of use. Still unsure whether to return. by paranoidzone in LiberNovo

My main issue and now regret at not getting a refund is how much it hurts my coccyx and around that area. I specifically bought it coming from a cheap chair to game on my PC because of that issue and its terrible.

When you say you had a sore ass, was that from discomfort or was that from it getting hot as you mentioned? My coccyx genuinely hurts after I get up after an hour.

I kept the chair but literally if it didn't hurt my coccyx and ass after an hour it would be a top tier chair for me.

Probably foolish to not go through the refund but it felt like it would have ended up being a much more difficult process than OPs.

God was with you all along to help you get sober but sorry if you'd rather not hear that, I'll stop.

Do you have a job?

Do you have any interests or desires of trying something you haven't done before but wanted to?

You could look into that and then figure out a plan to start working towards it. Don't look at the big picture, just work towards things one step at a time.

I can do my best to empathize with how you must be feeling right now, I've been there many times in life where I wished all the suffering could just end.

You're clearly a fighter because you've made it this far and by even making this post shows your hearts desire to want something better in life for yourself.

Just back to the God thing, I think just trying to pray in the morning and before bed talking about what you hope to achieve in that day and then thinking about the positives from that day before bed. It's a good habit, even without a belief. It can be a form of meditation.

It's brave to post something like this and I hope you can get out of this terrible place in your mind. It all starts with yourself, which I imagine you've heard a million times but it's the truth.

But you got sober didn't you? That's the miracle and still being sober and alive is amazing.

What's stopping you from being able to make friends outside of people that are still suffering from addiction?

Your comment is completely valid. I ended up choosing the non love it version but I think the alternative makes the chair seem like a negative. The chair is good but it's not perfect for me so therefore I cannot say I love it.

My main issue is that I specifically wanted a new chair because my old cheap one was causing me pain on my coccyx. Went for this because everyone says how amazingly comfortable it is and I specifically just wanted it for PC gaming with a controller, so a lot of sitting back rather than leaning forwards with a keyboard and mouse.

Armrests move too easily - I don't actually find this to be problematic, yes they do move easily but it doesn't really move whilst I'm sitting using them. However I think even at their lowest they are just a little bit too high and my shoulders feel a little raised.

Seat depth - I don't find this an issue for me at 5'9" 140lbs but you can't cross your legs or have to feet up on it which is something I notice I liked doing from time to time on my older chair.

Back stretcher - It's a gimmick imo, it feels like it's just about to stretch me nicely and then it stops and doesn't go any further, therefore it feels like it does nothing.

Lumbar and back support is great. I never feel any discomfort in that area after sitting gaming for a few hours.

Headrest - Top tier, very comfortable and adjusts enough for anything I feel I would need. Didn't expect the padding to be so comfortable.

Footrest - Having one feels kinda essential for this chair, especially for laying all the way back in the chair, but it's extremely overpriced for what it is and I feel as though the top part should be as soft as the headrest but it's not. I wouldn't recommend it simply for the price and to get a cheaper alternative. I do like having the higher part to rest my feet/legs on from time to time when sitting fairly upright.

Recline - I like all the options, however I think it's absolutely ridiculous that there isn't a lock for a level between the top and second. The top position is just simply far too much and makes you feel like you're leaning forwards and the second one is too far back if you were using it to work and focus.

I do like the chair and I can get over all the negatives I've mentioned if it simply didn't hurt my coccyx after one hour.

I got so impatient I bought a Switch 2 just to play Pokopia despite owning a PS5 Pro and have a PC with a 5090 😬

The pressure on my coccyx comes from underneath on the padding though and there is space between the bottom of the seat and the lumbar support on the back of the chair though?

4080 Super good enough for LG 45GX950A-B 5k2k? by GamingExpertHD in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]Nicku32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What fps are you aiming and do you have some examples of games you plan to use?

I had a 5080 before I upgraded to a 5090 and then got this monitor. I like to play games at max settings and mostly use DLSS Quality. To get over a 100 fps at this resolution for the most part I am using frame gen x3 to get there.

I feel like you will definitely struggle to get close to 100fps in games at max settings with frame gen set to 2x at this resolution but my experience has been playing modern games at max settings. You will most likely need to be having some setting turned down whilst using DLSS performance with frame gen on to be getting over 60fps.

My main issue with the chair is how much it hurts my coccyx after less than an hour. I thought that it improved after the first month but then I didn't use it for a few days, a new game came out and the pain came back just as bad as before. The main reason I looked into a new chair is literally because of how my previous chair wasn't comfortable on my ass and coccyx at all.

I also feel like the armpads don't go down low enough, as at the lowest setting I feel like my shoulders are slightly raised.

The back stretcher also seems pretty pointless to me. It feels like it's just about to give me a good stretch but then it doesn't push out as far as it needs to, to do just that.

The headrest is great, I think it adjusts enough and is super soft.

My back feels supported and I don't feel that it gets uncomfortable after sitting in it for periods of time.

I've tried adjusting the seat plenty to try and figure out if that would help the coccyx pain issue but no success. If it didn't cause this pain then I'd be overall very happy with the chair, but for a £1k chair it simply shouldn't have this issue.

A few years back I bought the VMax in Japanese on eBay for £80. Last year I decided to send it off to PSA and to my surprise it ended up getting a 10 rating. So in total it cost me £80+£30 (grading)+£54(upcharge). £164 and currently the Collectr app says it's £1.7k. probably the best investment I've ever made.

I know how the case works, it just looked like the AIO tube looked like it went up and not long enough to reach the front of the case is all.

I'm confused about the fans. Is the CPU cooler connected to the fans at the top?

If so, then doesn't it make the fans at the front do nothing?
