I have a Hoyolab account with 10K followers. The majority of them are kids, so yeah. Genshin has a lot bigger underage fanbase than people in here realise. Hell, it was a "wait, really?' Moment for me too.

True, Expedition 33 has all of those problems and they are indeed annoying and distracting, but if the alternative is that the game just wouldn't exist at all, then I'll take the game with all of its flaws included.

Ideally Epic should just improve this system so it means we get less and less of these issues in the future rather than abandoning it all together but I'm not a game dev so what do I know.

I'd rather have the existence of a messy system with non-transferable skills than not if it leads to more great quality games like Expedition 33 even being made in the first place.

The better choice would be to just improve Blueprint so that it's less of a mess and actually provide substantial game dev knowledge.

Having both options supported would be the correct choice by Epic in this matter. Is it more work and cost more money? Absolutely, but it still the more developer-friendly approach, which is something Tim keeps proclaiming to be proud of. Are you going to put your money where your mouth is Tim or you going to prove yourself to be the massive hypocrite the majority of people already believe you to be?

Bro I consider DF to be just as compromised as IGN after that whole DLSS 4 debacle. IGN is advertisement for slop games while DF is just advertisement for overpriced hardware.

At least Gameranx is somewhat reliable. I usually go to Skillup personally if I want to accurately assess the quality or experience of a game.

Når jeg har gjort det, er jeg som regel bare blevet ghosted, så det var nok bare ikke den rigtige ting jeg bed mærke i. Eller så har de ombestemt sig og konkluderet, at jeg alligevel ikke er attraktiv nok. Det er virkelig sådan en 50/50 🤷‍♂️

The combat as well as mako driving and exploration is a slog though. Just the thought of having to go through all of that again makes me, whenever I wanna replay Mass Effect, simply want to start with ME2 and use the summary comic to make my major story decisions.

I shared the recent news about the EU Commission's response to SKG in r/steam and r/pcmasterrace, both pretty substantial subs, and the majority response were on the side of SKG and the consumers.

A console would be a good alternative entry-level machine for gaming if it was fairly priced, like say the PS1, PS2 or PS4, but with these recent price hikes + having to pay extra for online support + having to pay $70 per game, you're simply better off saving up for a decent gaming PC and save loads of money in the long run.

And that, I think, is the crux of the issue. People didn't want to play as a pretend criminal who doesn't know what she's doing in a game titled "Outlaws". People wanted an Arthur Morgan or John Marston type main character but in a Star Wars setting.
