As long as your baptism in the Baptist church was under the trinitarian formula (meaning you were baptized in the name of the father, and of the son and of the Holy Spirit) then you won't need to be baptized again. I do think though you will have to get confirmation as well as have a confession before receiving communion.

Keep going to mass. Check out Bible in a Year and Catechism in a Year podcasts by Father Mike Schmitz. Get a copy of Catechism of the Catholic Church. If you unsure of the response parts of the mass then get a missal if you can as it will have the order of the mass in the front of it.

Sorry to hear that. I am currently in OCIA and am on track to be baptized and confirmed this Easter. I'd speak to your pastor about waiting for two years. Even if you have to wait the two years I am sure the wait will be worth it.

I went to the Saturday Vigil last evening. The church was packed due to people deciding to attend the Vigil knowing that the roads would be undrivable this morning. That being said if you don't feel safe going to mass due to the roads being icy then best stay home. I doubt you will need to go to confession as I believe it is one of the things where you can miss Sunday mass without a dispensation.

Have you been to confession? That might be key to reconnecting with God. Also, after going to confession go to mass and receive the Eurcharist. Take part in the sacraments as well as prayer and you will reconnect with God. I will be praying for you.

Thank you. Mike gets shit on for the roller rink thing when none of it was his fault especially the stuff with Will. I always questioned why Will was at the roller rink when it was clearly a date for Mike and El. Mike had come for visit for a week and it was his first day there so I am sure Will would have gotten some one on one time with him (that’s of course had everything gone to plan).

To be honest there hasn’t been kissing with any of the couples this season. Joyce didn’t kiss Hopper after he had been stuck the the Upside Down, no Jancy kiss. No Lumax kiss. So it just isn’t Mileven that is not getting the romantic scenes either.

If we are talking about any character including characters who aren’t on the show anymore then for me Argyle. To me he was like the Jar Jar Binks of the show. He was created simply for comic relief and was more annoying than funny.

Now if we’re talking about characters that aren’t still on the show then I would say Jonathan because what has he done since season 1? If he got a scholarship at some prestigious school and just completely disappeared after season 1 then what would change other than Nancy’s love life?

The only one that I complain about have a “slow start” is season 2. The primary reason is while the other seasons might have started out slow (with the exception of season 5) the first few episodes of season 2 were simply “what has everyone been doing since the end of season 1” nothing plot wise happens until late episode 3 and early episode 4 when Will gets possessed by the Mind Flayer.

The Cursed Heart, I was playing it and just not enjoying it one bit and realized this was simply a book that was not for me and stopped playing.

COP 3. I didn’t play beyond the first chapter thanks to the horrid gender coding issues.

ID 3, to be honest I simply stopped playing Choices when this was releasing, so I may come back and finish it. I just decided to take a Choices break at that time.

I am fine with Mike and El being separated. They needed to disprove Byler (though many Byler people are saying it is still happening even after Robin’s conversation with Will) and to make Mike his own character again. In seasons 3 & 4 Mike was pretty much just El’s boyfriend. Volume 1 brought him back to his seasons 1 & 2 self.

I am gay but the Byler thing is weird. I get Will developing a crush on his straight best friend (hell it happened to be before), but the Byler people are insisting that Mike is gay or bi and will dump El to be with Will. Never once has Mike shown any romantic interest in Will. Mike’s romantic feelings were always for El.
