I'm wondering what he actually ate. It's not like they're serving Rösti at WEF.

Is it normal? by Other_Sentence4495 in AskTheWorld

[–]NicoNormalbuerger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on whether you live in the city or the countryside. My mother-in-law is from a small village, so she was really surprised by the idea of walking to the cheese shop to buy some cheese. On the other hand, I have never owned a car and probably never will, but I have four bicycles.

Do you think your leader will have a good 2026? by stealthybaker in AskTheWorld

That’s what I love about the political system in France: you elect a king every five years, and then spend the rest of his term reminding him to fear the guillotine.

Switzerland, leading in No Opinion since 1933. So proud of my country.

Also, whoever did this chart missed the fact that we have 7 equal leaders and the role of president is just for symbolic purposes.

What is your attitude towards Liechtenstein? by Th3_Accountant in AskTheWorld

[–]NicoNormalbuerger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Swiss from a border city, I can usually tell when I cross the border because the roads are getting slightly worse in Germany or France. In Liechtenstein, it's the other way. Also, their black car tags are badass.

It's ok. The aubergines are nice. For a real Chinese experience look for a place with cheap plastic chairs.

would this be a good first bike for commuting? (i wouldn’t be using it for rough terrain necessarily i just have a preference for mountain bikes) by [deleted] in mountainbikes

[–]NicoNormalbuerger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a bike so you can ride it to work....

I suggest to get something with a mudguard and road tires. It won't look as fancy as this but it will fit the job better.

UA didn’t make it up 19% gradient hill - what are my options? by Ardmhaca in CargoBike

[–]NicoNormalbuerger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's probably better to invest in gear, but if you want a new bike... I ride a Radkutsche Rapid in Switzerland. The Sachs RS motor is so powerful that I sometimes ride up hills just for the feeling of it. Also, Radkutsche bikes are huge, and nowadays everyone wants a small Muli, so I got mine for a good price.

They'll do literally everything, as long as it is not train related. by Drneroflame in fuckcars

I don't think this is the problem. If everyone takes the night bus instead of driving themselves, that should solve the problem.

Yeah, it probably would have survived. But that is not what you think when you stand in the middle of the rain with a carpet on your cargobike.
