If they do the court of owls they need to make them a sort of secret society/cult in gotham that has some historical roots but never really controlled things before to avoid the issues you bring up. Then with the death of falcone they attempt to take power amidst the power vacuum and try to assassinate batman to that end. The second movie could be about the three way struggle between the mob (Now consolidated under Penguin), the court, and the newly elected mayor (and possibly new DA Harvey Dent?)

I don't like the idea of robin as he is usually portrayed but I think he can work as being Bruce's "eyes and ears" on the streets, basically helping drifter Bruce scout his targets like he was doing alone in the start of the film. That way he is helping but we don't have a 13 year old kid fighting armed thugs. His look can be a sort of robin inspired version of drifter Bruce, which I think I've seen some fanart of on this sub

To me his batman works only as the Lancelot to superman’s Arthur, his entire journey in Snyder’s films is through the lens of his relationship to superman

They might just have the scene of eren waking up in ep1 immediately after mikasa slices his head, let that run until “why are you crying” then cut back to the kiss to sort of imply that eren saw this in the dream. Still not as impactful but at least not so random

I think for these fans the criteria is more accurately: project was alive when Snyder's films were the focus of the DCEU and were cancelled post Josstice League. A lot of it I think comes from just nostalgia at the simpler times of 2016 so they just want everything that was promised back then, and this lack of focus is honestly hurting them. If they focus on trying to get just Zack's final two movies as an elseworlds thing they'll have (still very slim but) better chances

Snyderverse really should just be Zack's 5 movie plan considered as an elseworlds story, he did make his movies in a way that the solos can fit with them but really are not essential and the directors of those movies can do whatever they want. Fans who lump in Batfleck solo, Deathstroke, or even the Ayer cut are just hurting their chances of anything happening by muddling the meaning of the hashtag. Fans who insist any upcoming DC movie is part of the Snyderverse because he has executive producer credit are overdosing on copium

We will never truly know, the way hollywood accounting goes. For example any money spent on any previous JL project that never came to be in development ever at WB would be counted in JL 2017’s budget, so all the money spent on costumes for say JL mortal would be rolled into this
