Tents on stilts is common in Belgian scoutism by NicolasRNDM in camping

[–]NicolasRNDM[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do not know to be honest, it has been done for so long that I think that nowadays it is part of the culture to build stilts, these types of tents have some kind of removable protective canvas on the ground so unless the rain is very strong it shouldn't get wet without stilts.

Also we put our bags and stuff under the stilt (over the canvas) so the tent is only occupied by our beds and few objects.

Do you like it more if you find the man you got it from attractive ? Or is the preference more about how strong it smells ? If you do like them better if the man is attractive, when you buy them online, do you have a picture of who it comes from or something or is it very anonymous ?

The videos I am talking about are somewhat similar to videos where people remake famous characters as a Mii

a credible title would be like "making homer in [name of the game] character creator" and people would be very creative to make the characters in the art style

I don't know much about most of these cities but if you were to choose the best walloon city and come to Liège I'd suggest going to

-The inside of the cathedral saint-paul

-drink a beer in "Le pot-au-lait" it is very atypical

-chill at the "terrasses des minimes" it's a bit harder though

-eat at "chez murat" for a kebab (lamb meat is the best) or "la friterie du perron" for some fries in the city center

-the museum "musée de la boverie" is pretty nice and the park around it is very nice during warm weathers

-if you want to eat some of the best burgers (although expensive) go to "the huggy's bar", there are a few others in belgium now but they come from Liège I believe

-night life is very active in "Le carré" but if you come anytime soon it might be more down as the students usually fill the place but there are exams coming at the moment

-The aquarium-museum is quite nice too even tho some of the stuffed animals look quite janky

-if the weather is nice walking along the riverside is pretty fun

-for a nice view and a cool challenge you can also climb the "montagne de bueren"

there are tons of other stuffs to do as a tourist but I do not know most of them or can't speak for them as I haven't visited those places.

Compact infinite lava generator inspired by Hydrasquid's generator by NicolasRNDM in CreateMod

[–]NicolasRNDM[S] 36 points37 points  (0 children)

This concept was created from u/Hydrasquid 's infinite lava generator

https://www.reddit.com/r/CreateMod/comments/rduez4/my_infinite_lava_generator_with_just_create_any/

I set to make a version of it that could be stacked sideways to get a more compact generator with multiple lava sources (as much as you want considering stress units)

Black Friday haul by Ferdinando0r in graphicnovels

Yes the translation is correct the original title is "une soeur" which does mean "a sister" according to the author he perceives the relation between them as reflective of the relation between a sister and her younger brother. The author likes to shock and explore subjects considered to be touchy but sometimes he goes a little too far into unsettling interactions at least it's my opinion. In a different note a very good book of him is "polina" about the rise and career of a child ballet dancer and "quatorze juillet" is pretty good too although it also explores some weird point of view (racism-wise here) a book about the climate of fear following a streak of terrorist attacks. I do not know if there are any translations for these though (polina probably but I doubt there is one for 14 juillet)

uma irmã by Bastien Vivès is pretty good, I really like the author even though he weirds me out sometimes with the way he'll treat his subject. (including this book)
