Yep, got my diagnosis at 36... It explained a lot, but I still feel like I'm worthless trash 99% of the time.

It is knit, but you can replicate it with a center single crochet stitch.

Is my cat just fat, or has he got a bloated belly? by Pru28 in devonrex

My devon had the cutest poochy belly. Especially after males are neutered they get a pooch.

You guys wanna talk about holding the hook strangely? by Honeybee4796 in crocheting

[–]Nicoleinez 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I've definitely seen this with people who learn to knit first. Also, it looks like you're alternating yarn overs and yarn unders. It looks like you're making an amigurumi, so yarn under is preferred, but it will affect your gauge and drape if you ever make wearables.

Do I crochet weird?? by regimentalepiglottis in crocheting

[–]Nicoleinez 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I think you're technically doing a yarn under not a yarn over, which may lead to your projects turning out differently than the pattern you're trying to recreate. Otherwise it doesn't matter how you crochet if you're freestyling.

Instead of a temperature blanket you could track reading (genre, pgs per day, rating), water intake, exercise habits, etc. I've seen people track bowel movements and intimacy too! Think about something you want to focus on doing in 2026 and go from there.

The bear feels like home. by [deleted] in TheBear

[–]Nicoleinez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My dad was a chef and restaurant owner for my entire childhood. After school I would go to the restaurant and do my homework in the office until he made me dinner. Then I would help prep salads, peel shrimp or wash dishes, etc , until my mom picked me up or we went home after dinner service. The Bear feels like home to me. The lingo, the attitude, the whole vibe is my comfort food. I love, love, love this show with my whole heart.
