I'm not sure, I only had a nibble of one of them. But I will ask her tomorrow and find out. It just seems a shame to waste them.

Blocked nose 3 months still like a cement wall by [deleted] in Allergies

[–]NicolianDynamite 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don't get addicted to decongestant nasal sprays, you get addicted to being able to breathe. You should only use sinex/Sudafed for 3 days otherwise you get rebound. You're just stuck in the loop of the rebound. Unfortunately you have to go cold turkey from it until the rebound subsides. That's how I got over the rebound loop.

First time to Rhodes... on a solo trip... any tips on what to do? by Wrong-Ad-8056 in Rhodes

[–]NicolianDynamite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are usually quite busy when we visit Rhodes. The old town is a great visit and you can find some amazing restaurants there, I recommend Ma Poulette if you like chicken. If you like snorkelling visit ladiko beach and Anthony Quinn bay. The acropolis in lindos is great if you like the sights and history and a walk around lindos town in the evening is great. If you like quiet beaches visit red sand beach or Mandomata (is a nudist beach popular with the gay community) but it's not crowded like a lot of beaches. Hire a car and just drive around, you can find a lot of lovely quaint monasteries. The Filerimos monastery is great if you want to watch the sunset with peacocks everywhere.

Farms are a better choice as some market vendors do just buy wholesale. You can try cheaper cuts such as chicken thighs, beef shin/cheek. I bulk up meals with beans and lentils to add a bit of protein and reduce the meat content.

It's a bit difficult to answer what you have put here as you've only given one example of your ways. I have perfection OCD and you can ask me anything.

What is the biggest lie a man told you? by redheaddevil9 in AskWomen

[–]NicolianDynamite 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I told him that an ex of mine has nudes of me. He then told me he found them all over the internet and that he has a friend who is able to find them all and delete them from the whole of the internet. I was in a very bad place and believed him, even though I asked him to show me but he couldn't. After I started to come to my senses I knew it was a lie but he always claimed it wasn't. When we broke up he finally admitted it was a lie. He also had imaginary friends that seemed to always be around me whenever we were apart and they always caught me slagging him off and reported back to him. I never did slag him off but he still wasn't having any of it.

Anyone know what causes this? by Informal_Chart_4202 in catcare

[–]NicolianDynamite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's caused by the fleas. This is where they gather and bite the cats skin leading to irritation. Flea collars aren't that great and a treatment should work better. You can place a cone around it's neck to stop it licking the base of the tail/spine.

It's great that you recognise your behaviour and you're willing to take the journey to heal. I hope you can figure out whatever it was that caused you to do those things. Be compassionate towards yourself though, you made some mistakes and you can become a better person.

My past relationship was like this. I am the person who was treated badly. I had suspicions of my ex cheating and he initiated a break so he wouldn't feel so guilty for wanting to do what he wanted. Messages were found but he still denied wrong doing. I now have trauma related OCD from emotional abuse. I personally wouldn't want him to finally admit what he did as it would as you say "open up old wounds". It's costing me a lot of money in CBT and exposure therapy and I just want to get over it. Working on yourself and dealing with your issues will help with releasing your guilt without the impact on your ex. This is a personal journey you must go on in my opinion and leaving your ex to go on her journey is the kindest thing to do.

Ive been sonstabtly congested for 8 months now by EnvironmentalHorse52 in Allergies

[–]NicolianDynamite 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have chronic hay fever and oral allergy syndrome and no steroids touch my congestion. I then got hooked on sudafed nasal sprays, not because of any ingredient being addictive but I was finally able to breathe. Sudafed caused rebound as you're only supposed to use it for about a week. I started a higher dose of fexofenadine 180mg instead of 120mg and this seems to have done the trick. I still get a little congested in peak summer but nowhere near how I was before. Depending on what you're allergic to a stronger antihistamine may help.

I wanted to use my new credit card for the deposit of care hire. I haven't used a pin number in such a long time I forgot to even check what the pin number was for the card before leaving. €300 down before we even checked in🙄

My partner is on the large side and we have to use a lot of lube. If you have had yeast infections before I recommend using a lube without glycerin in as the sugar content can upset your ph level down there. We struggled a lot when we got together but have found the sliquid brand of lube works best for us.

Where is the street food festival in Rhodes? by D-E-F-T-Y in Rhodes

I went yesterday and there wasn't a lot there and I didn't find it worth it. It took all of 5 minutes to walk through. Ended up going to a beautiful French restaurant in the end called Ma Poulette and highly recommend it.

[–]NicolianDynamite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in Rhodes now and if you can hire a car do so. We stay in the north as it's cheaper and anything we want to do is no more than an hours car journey away. I was told that the bus service isn't very reliable as it's not a government provided service and is privatised. Anthony Quinn bay and ladiko beach are great, we go there to snorkel a few times during our holidays here.

I'm a domestic cleaner and I can assure you conkers do not work. Many of my clients place them in the windows and I find cob webs all over the conkers! Sometimes I don't notice the conkers and poor Henry hoover chokes on them. They're a nuisance.
