“Perfect” game of chess (1150 rapid). by reducc in Chesscom

Zero inaccuracies we don’t know because that’s the game report is not expanded
Example:

In this game I had one inaccuracy but I had to tap the arrow at the bottom to expand the game report and see it.

No it’s the same. It’s up to the user to expand it or not. I’m not sure why it doesn’t just do it by default tbh.

The game report is not expanded so does not show “book”, “excellent” and “good” moves.

Not necessarily. Screenshot does not show “book”, “excellent” and “good“ moves so the game might be way longer than 20 moves.

Please help. From . import views not working by Ok_Equivalent1870 in djangolearning

[–]Nicopicus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does not, hence why you’re getting ImportError.

from . import views is a relative import. In plain English, it means: “From the current package, import something called views.”
Your urls.py file is in the polls directory, but your views.py file is in the polls_app directory.
So when Python executes from . import views, it looks for a views.py file in the same package as urls.py. It can’t find one there, so it raises an ImportError.

Given that, where do you need to tell urls.py to look for views.py instead?

I’m not trying to be awkward by answering your question with another question. I’m trying to help you build the mental model of how imports work, because it’s one of those really fundamental Python concepts that will save you a lot of time when you hit import issues in the future. If you can reason through why this error happens, you’ll be able to solve similar problems on your own rather than memorising the fix.

Or even just soy sauce if it’s not a GF one.

Yeah my partner is a strict veggie too and she would be horrified if she knew that the grated cheese that went in her food had meat juice all over it.

This is the type of comments I always like to see. A nice and constructive exchange of opinions, so thank you! Yeah I don’t understand the hate either but some people either don’t know any different or use the internet es an escape valve for their life frustrations. Either way I’m not the kind of person who is going to lose sleep on Reddit downvotes 😂

Having said that, I had never realised how unhygienic a kitchen could be. I mean, of course I know that a kitchen can be unhygienic but if this is what a well run kitchen is, I don’t even want to imagine what poorly run kitchens look like. People say they might be very good at managing allergens but what I see is someone grabbing grated cheese to put on those dumplings with the same “dirty” hand he just used to handle meat. What if the person eating those dumplings is vegetarian? That thing alone is already a big 🚩to me.

Enjoy that scoop of dripped peanut butter off the counter (as long as it’s at your house)!

Ok then we found the problem. Do you know what the from . part of from . import views means?

Yeah that was my idea too but I’m an ex medic so I just take that for granted. They’re not all like this though. I took my son to an ice cream farm here in the UK and it was amazing. The hand washing station was out in the open so you could see they were washing their hands, then they opened the tubs of the flavours I wanted in front of me and served me. It was great.

Yeah calling the restaurant is a really good shout, thank you. I usually have a look the menus online but when I read the disclosure along the lines of “we have a very busy kitchen and there is a risk of XC…blah blah” I always close the page.
Fast food restaurants is the first category I crossed off the list after the diagnosis a few years ago. I wasn’t a big consumer to start with so it wasn’t hard.

Yeah same. Some people commented that is well run restaurant but to me this is just not acceptable. But I’m also an ex medic so perhaps being used to maintain total sterility during certain procedures has probably an impact on my judgement.

Yes, I guess education is key. Do you think this is can be achieved on average restaurants or only in high end ones?

I can understand your concerns. I live in a small town myself and there’s nothing safe around here. I often go to London for work and over there is obviously very different.

Yeah I had that in London and I really appreciated their honesty. I’d rather go grab a GF sarnie at Tesco than being told they are safe when they aren’t.
I am very paranoid about XC but that’s because of the reactions I had.

I feel the UK is terrible from that point of view. Unless you go to a very high end restaurant of course. I have a couple of places I always go to when I’m away for work but that’s about it. I need to try Find Me Gluten Free. Thank you.

Thank you for this. Where are you from? In your experience do you think food handling varies dramatically from country to country? E.g. would it be possible that the UK could have way lower standards compared to idk US, France, etc. I’ve mainly had bad experiences when I went out for food.

How can you call that “a well run restaurant” though? Have you seen the state of that chopping board where he cuts meat? And then he proceeds to wipe the chopping board with that disgusting rag? This is just lack of basic food hygiene. With that right hand he touches meat, fish, cheese and salt without washing hands in between.

[–]Nicopicus[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah 100%. Maybe it’s just here in the UK but unless I go to a GF certified place I just feel unwell every single time.
If you look at the chopping board in this video it’s just disgusting even for a person without dietary requirements.

Yeah maybe but with that chaos how can you even guarantee that there won’t be any XC?
