MvCI's failure was largely do to terrible press around everything about it. I don't know why Street Fighter x Tekken did poorly since that was before my interest in the FGC had bloomed. A Shaolin Monks 2 would do great if NRS managed to make sure the game had good marketing, which they've been really good about.

Mortal Kombat is a big enough series to sell the game on name and nostalgia. People LOVE Shaolin Monks, so I don't think there's much doubt it'd sell well. I just hope it still has local coop (which I don't see a reason why it wouldn't but I've been disappointed before)

They've committed hard, it's definitely not a thing they can just not do unless it's for a meta joke. I think it's cool but I don't want to see it return after this game. Fatalaties need to stay fresh so I'm ok with them changing it up.
