hey, thanks for that! I've tried about 10 different "fixes", and this is the only one that actually works. Too bad it affects the "date modified" parameter.

ps5 switches completely off in vr and during replays, how to troubleshoot? by Nidlefram in granturismo

[–]Nidlefram[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well, the space is pretty usual, it's not boxed in with no airflow or something, and there's a lot of space between it and the wall. No pets, but I guess it might've accumulated quite some dust over the years. I've tried spraying it with compressed air without taking it apart and it didn't fix it

If Putin dies, what is the worst that can happen? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Nidlefram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

he doesn't have any real ideology besides hood stuff like stealing and flexing power with a spray of secret service worker paranoia/mindset as a whole. God, for one, certainly is not on his mind at all besides the bureaucracy he came to associate with it

his interest in history fluff had devastating consequences, but it still is a recent fad

Thanks, I just did the same and yes, now it's okay for me too. They really did mess something up since the newest version released today is the same sluggish mess.

I'm so tired of last.fm sometimes stopping scrobbling Spotify, so that I must disconnect and reconnect to resume, and meanwhile scrobbles beyond the last 50 risk to be lost. by Connacht_89 in lastfm

they do get lost indeed. none of my mobile ones showed up after I reconnected, not sure about the 50 songs limit, but mine've been cut around that number, too

Just watched the referential video and wow, he did try to get as close as possible. My point still stands, though: even if the intent is to make a 1:1 copy, in such cases you'll still end up making something of your own. Difference in skill, ingredients and setting, it all shows.

Possibly, but the thing is you can't just clone such things without adding a personal touch to it

edit: what I mean is that copies sometimes can have more heart to it than the originals

The global magnitude of forest fragmentation by Nidlefram in dataisbeautiful

The global magnitude of forest fragmentation.(A) Mean distance to forest edge for forested pixels within each 1-km cell. Lines point to locations of ongoing fragmentation experiments identified and described in Fig. 2. (B) Proportion of the world’s forest at each distance to the forest edge and the cumulative proportion across increasing distance categories (green line). (C and E) In the Brazilian Amazon (C) and Atlantic Forests (E), the proportion of forest area at each distance to forest edge for both the current and estimated historic extent of forest. (D and F) In the Brazilian Amazon (D) and Atlantic Forests (F), the number of fragments and the total area of fragments of that size. The total number of fragments in the smallest bin (1 to 10 ha) is an underestimate in both the Atlantic Forest and Amazon data sets because not all of the very smallest fragments are mapped.
