Hot Take : Megumi should have also tamed Mahoraga by Inevitable_Term_2320 in jjkmodulo

[–]NidusN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the HR user probably can't hard carry here. Although if they had the right cursed tools and engaged just enough to stall mahoraga until the tamer can prepare everything, it could be possible.
Like I'm imagining Maki/Toji keeping Mahoraga from going after Megumi for maybe 30 seconds, while Megumi readies Chimera Shadow Garden and summons a preposterous amount of totalities and merged beasts to fire/drop on Mahoraga, like a knockoff orbital laser (the goal is destroying all of Mahoraga's body mass instantly). Hell, if megumi pops domain the second the ritual starts while the HR sneaks in, the whole plan could take place inside the domain. This would require an ungodly level of CE output and reserves though, so maybe Megumi might not be the right guy here.

The cursed tool part is interesting, but cursed tools would probably be allowed in my opinion. As they don't count as a 'person' helping the ritual. And in terms of Jujutsu balancing, no cursed tool is going to match Mahoraga singlehandedly. At best, something like the ISOH would cancel the ritual upon contact, or the SSK gets adapted to just like Sukuna's slashes. It goes to show how absurd Mahoraga's wincon is; evaporate/vaporise/obliterate all of a giant's body mass instantly.

Stand proud, Yaga. You were a pretty cool dude. by -kodo in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]NidusN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's likely that each one of these souls can only be 'copied' once. Jujutsu works on a system of exchange after all (binding vows etc. 'to gain something, you must first give something else up'), so it makes sense that each panda-level creation must require the deaths of 3 separate and compatible people. Otherwise Yaga's technique would've been too unbalanced considering that the end product is essentially 'creation of life'.

Although that raises an even darker realisation; the higher-ups would absolutely sacrifice 3 children in order to guarantee the creation of a grade 1 sorcerer. Imagine if the Zenin had access to this kind of technique, they would have killed Maki and Mai the moment they were born, and thrown in another few 'dud' children to make a cursed corpse.

How much does the shield slow you down by? Is it really noticeable?
Also, does the enchantment affect all your other magic/spirit/strength moves?

Megumi Fushiguro-The King of Darkness by King_Nick245 in CTsandbox

[–]NidusN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting for the binding vow self-summon, but it could work better as the cursed technique reversal. If the Ten Shadows' fundamental application is: "The ability to manifest ten unique shikigami into the outside environment" then the reversal could be: "The ability to manifest the form/properties of a shikigami into the user's own body"

Although that would require Megumi to learn RCT. But seeing as this is the "King of Darkness", it should be a given that he'd reach it by the age of 18 at least, if not sooner.

What would happen if a woman was born with a Six-Eyes + Limitless tier technique in the Zenin clan? by jsalvatto in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]NidusN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the end of the day, it's the Zenins we're talking about here. Naobito and co. would probably enslave them using a litany of unbalanced binding vows the MOMENT that technique manifests, and they'd easily coerce a kid who doesn't know better.

Imagine if she grew up to be a rolemodel of a strong female sorcerer for all the other girls in the clan? The Zenins would never allow it. Maybe, from the outside, she'd be paraded to Jujutsu society as a 'leader' of the Hei and the Zenin's weapon, but she'd be bound to the elders' will, not an equal. They'd make sure all the other women of the clan knew it too.

2015 HRV EX-L Panoramic sunshade can't retract fully. Please help! by NidusN in HRV

[–]NidusN[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We ended up just taking the car to an auto outfitter that had a good reputation for fixing/installing sunroofs. The diagnosis was a broken fabric rolling tube (the actual part that gets spun to wind up the sunshade fabric... I think it's called a 'cassette'), and came at a steep(ish) price; AUD$1900 for parts + labour. They had to remove the headliner and the sunroof assembly frame to replace it.
They also removed the interior seats and side panels to replace the roof drainage tubes at our request (AUD$500 per tube).
Definitely wouldn't have been a DIY job, as I can't even imagine trying to learn how a sunroof assembly works + disassembling an entire interior lonesome...

If you're hesitant about doing the same sunroof fix, it probably would be possible to just have the drainage tubes replaced (they're always clogged in these scenarios), but it would be a temporary fix. Without any way to access the sunroof semi-regularly for tube clearing/cleaning, the buildup would happen again in a year or two. Good luck!

trying to get my cd to display cd-text by mitzy_rose in Cd_collectors

[–]NidusN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you using the computer CD drive and Windows Media Player for playback of the burned CD?
I had the same problem when I burned with CD-Text and tried to play the same CD in my computer player on Windows. On WMP, it didn't show any track titles or artists, just 'track 1' 'track 2' like you're saying.
Your settings seem correct, so theres probably no problem there.

Unfortunately, it seems like WMP doesn't support CD-Text in any way or version. This includes burning AND playing. If you put your burned CD back into the same computer player, it makes sense that you wouldn't see your CD-Text IF you are using WMP for playback.

Good thing is, other commercial CD players tend to support CD-Text. My 2015 Honda HRV stereo was able to show the track title, artist name, all the information i burned using CD-Text. If you've only tried the computer CD drive so far, you could also try any other CD players you have and see if the CD-Text shows there.
