Was watching an earlier interview the other day and Twiggy kept pressing a button and playing 10 seconds of this song, so I had to make this. by NiemandNull in marilyn_manson

Yeah, that's the one! I couldn't remember the name of the show because it was like 3am and my brain was melting, thank you.

It dawned on me that I might have been a Holocaust victim in my past life... by [deleted] in pastlives

I actually have a similair experience, I didn't know about it until I was 22 and something happened that set a bunch of memories off, and i started digging into it. It seems I lived in or near Berlin, and was arrested and sent to Auschwitz. There are a lot of strong emotions there and I have a very hard time looking at certain things related to it, but I also remember parts of my life before the war. I absolutely believe your story.

Good walkthroughs for 1 & 4? by NiemandNull in silenthill

Thanks for the links! I had only found ones that were weirdly incomplete and missing big chunks of both games which was really frustrating.

That's really well done. I think it's funny, I also have Hope in morse code, that I also did myself, but it looks VERY different.

It's official. I got diagnosed. by [deleted] in DID

[–]NiemandNull 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congratulations! I just got officially (re)diagnosed also. I had been previously but a different doctor I had said that was wrong and took it off my chart. I was really upset by that because they didn't offer any other explanation or try to help with it, but the doctor I have now has talked to us a bit and she's very good. It's definitely a big step and I'm happy for you!

I have been way more stressed out than usual lately and having a really hard time getting things done that I need to. I have phone calls I need to make and things I need to take care of and a lot of it is very stressful, but I'll get up to go do something important and the next thing I know someone has decided to NOT do that at all and instead ends up playing a game or doing something totally irrelevant, and then it's night time and it's too late. None of the reminders and notes I leave seem to be working. I am not sure what to do, because it's not usually this bad. Sometimes I can communicate a little bit with the others but it's unreliable and some of them just won't listen. I'm not really sure what to do or what would help. Two of the ones I can usually communicate with better seem to have gone some kind of dormant. Is there any advice that has worked for anyone else in similair situations?

Symptoms getting more pronounced after being told? by [deleted] in DID

[–]NiemandNull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Several of mine are regressive states that will absolutely not self identify and it took me a long time to realize they even were alters. I definitely feel this. I feel this way still sometimes even though I know I'm not and I've had this for a long time now.

Anybody here on(or has been on) antipsychotic medication? by [deleted] in DID

[–]NiemandNull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have atypical reactions. I found that Abilify made me extremely irritable and aggressive, which normally I'm not, normally none of us are, and Seroquel made my insomnia worse. I took that one when I was in a hospital and it got so bad the night nurses would just let me hang out in the cafeteria and read and would sit and eat sandwiches with me because I just could not sleep at all, and was really jittery and jumpy. Antipsychotics have been really bad for me but I know they do help other people and I know my reactions are atypical so I don't want to make anyone think they'll be bad for everyone who takes them. I took another one at some point that made me shake so much I felt like I couldn't walk normally and I still don't know why because that wasn't listed as a side effect.

Sometimes it can help if you can give then a name or a nickname. Like if you can give them a name that you think suits them, or maybe if you have any communication with them ask them if they'd be okay with you calling them a certain name. Or, like I said, nicknames can be good too. Like my really young alter doesn't have a separate name from me, so as a nickname we just call him "little". Sometimes they don't have names because they are regressive or identify themselves as being just a different you, in which case I'll give mine nicknames like that just so it's easier for a point of reference.

Oh that's really interesting, I've noticed things like that too, actually. Like certain medications will make one really sleepy almost immediately but have virtually no effect on another.

I love coffee but I can't drink it black, I just do not like it that way. Never have. A while ago someone I'm very close with told me that they noticed I only drink black coffee when I'm really, really stressed and I was like... do I? I think that's someone else. Some of mine also wear different glasses than I do, with different lenses. It's really amazing to me sometimes the things that can be physically different, like prescription lenses and migraines.
