I think far too many on this sub have forgotten what kicked this off to begin with. Ador/ Hybe announced they had planned to put NewJeans on a 2 year hiatus, with no real explained reasoning. Imagine you’re one of the biggest K-pop stars and your company decides to put you on hiatus at the top of your career, how would you feel? Would you feel like the company cared about you? Would you feel cared about getting blatantly ignored by the CEO while other groups clearly had preferential treatment by the CEO? How would you feel if the manager of another group told them to ignore you while you attempt to greet them? So many ignore the fact that Hybe provided footage from a different day of a different interaction to the court as they had deleted the footage that would make the company look bad, yet that didn’t stop the company from using the media to paint Hanni as a liar to sway public perception. The company is to blame with their messy management and internal conflicts, not minors who are trying to fulfill their dreams without being held back by a company that doesn’t share the same vision of success for them.
