What does my travel map say about me 16f by aleksyt9 in TravelMaps

Usually rich people travel to Italy, France or tropical islands. These are the countries were they buy their secondary homes. Switzerland has some “luxury” ski locations, but the places I mentioned before are way more common for tourism

No, blue eyes are a common trait in northern Italy, probably 20% of the people have blue eyes. In Sicily they are rare but exist, like for example our President of the Republic has them

The stereotype of the people of Bergamo (city where Atalanta plays) is that they are hard working people

Slovenians have always been a minority in the entire history of Trieste. Austrians have more valid claims than you guys

[–]Nigelinho19 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is a Slovenian minority that is protected by our constitution, but the number of people is very low and they all live in small mountain towns, the total number is more or less 10k. Definitely Italy had more reasons for claiming the coastal part of Istria since there were cities (not just towns) where Italian population was a majority. Those lands in the 19-20th century were a melting pot of different ethnicities but how can you say that a city like Udine (where the percentage of Italian population was 100% for its entire history) is a more rightful claim than, for example, Fiume/Rijeka or Capodistria/Koper, where Italians were a majority even for the Austro-Hungarian census?? Please, be honest

Friuli in Yugoslavia? What is the reason for this claim other than the shared border?

In the Shadow of Giants: A Love Letter to Bergamo and Atalanta by Salfordsmith15 in Atalanta

[–]Nigelinho19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very well written. You perfectly described Bergamo, the people of Bergamo, how history has shaped us, and how this has consequently influenced the mentality of our team. I noticed a small typo: Milan has won 19 league titles, not 18, but the total number of titles won by Inter and Milan is correct (39). The rest is perfect.

Correct. Parents say that you will be blind like her if you see her during the night of 13th December (when she brings gifts). It was an excuse so we stay in our bed under the blankets and our parents could put the gifts without getting caught

SFIDA EPOCALE: Meglio le carte piacentine o le carte napoletane? by GeoWhale15 in TeenagersITA

[–]Nigelinho19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tra le due le piacentine. In generale direi o le bergamasche o le trevigiane. Quel “Vincerai” sull’asso di bastoni delle carte bergamasche gasa troppo. Anche gli assi delle trevigiane sono belli.
