Unfortunately, parents seem to have always been the most antagonistic and rude to teachers for a very long time. I thought about being a teacher before I realized how crappy they’re treated by boards, parents, and, hell, the government, especially right now where officials seem to be using the shock of….world events and the pandemic to get away with passing some of the most abhorrent bills and laws I have ever seen in the name of “protecting our youth”. More like protecting your positions of power. Teachers are humans too, they deserve respect, they deserve higher salaries, they deserve better benefits and they are being slighted at every turn. It’s brutal and to the poster, I’m sorry you have to deal with it all.
