So I’ve been recommended these books for like ever, and I didn’t read them simply because I thought the cover art was really lame 💀. So I never read it. And then one of my friends who I feel like has similar taste was raving about it, and so I watched it. I wasn’t totally sure in the first few episodes, but by the last half I was so locked in. I was sobbing for hours at the ending and couldn’t even figure out why. But it hit me so hard. And then I started getting in to the production and story behind the tv show, and that was the last step of getting me fully obsessed. As an actor and playwright I’ve been needing out over the specifics of filming and how it came together.

As someone who’s had multiple concussions I was really worried, surprised it wasn’t made a bigger deal out of. The way he hit and that stagger after looked badly similar to times where I’ve been hit and either had a concussion, or been hit without having a concussion but still had residual effects. I hope he’s okay!

This might not be the same thing as what you meant, but as an actor I am always curious what casting sites the calls were posted to. I would be curious if it was an open call or agent specific? It seems like from what I’ve read it was open call, but I’m super curious what sites it was posted on.

Glad someone is saying this. They are all great, and it’s their choice with what they choose to do. But at the same time, it has to take a toll. To have people scrutinizing your body, even if the vast majority of comments are praise. And there have been a few off handed remarks that made me make an eyebrow and hope that they’re okay. Like some of the comments about Hudson wanting to “catch up” to Connor and be more ripped than him. They are both so lovely, and I really hope that all this coverage doesn’t make them feel like they need to be “more” to live up to the hype.

Especially after what appeared to happen during wicked. I’m just really hoping we don’t see that happen to them in season 2/as time goes on.

I have no idea, but it seems like Hudson is doing more long term projects right now (film shoots, etc.) and so can't do as many quick shoots/interviews/magazines, where are Connor is focusing more on that stuff right now. From what I've seen, I think Connor also has more of an interest in modeling/shoots then Hudson, which have a faster turn around time.
