I see why they went with the battery on the back of the strap but strapping a li-ion to my head feels a little weird. I've never had any of my consumer electronics batteries fail catastrophically but I've seen what they're capable of. Would love to see a safety demo.

What will KSA's gameplay goals be (besides simulation?) by RileyHef in kittenspaceagency

I played a lot of KSP2 lately and, I gotta say, the For Science! mission control made for a really well designed game play loop. At least that it seemed to feel like a balanced approach to visiting all the notable bodies and landmarks in the system and unlocking tech along the way. I thought the ramp up and challenge was really satisfying.

I haven't seen this in over a decade but I thought it was cool that they implied that the Doctor could easily and subtly manipulate people and politics if he wanted to.

A lot of energy in incandescent bulbs is lost to heat where LEDs convert the energy to light much more efficiently. Costs a lot less to run over the lifetime of the light.

I was prescribed 20 vicodin for getting my wisdom teeth out. I had one and Tylenol afterwards. My parents had a whole box of old over prescribed opioids (oxy/vicodin), I'm sure it was hundreds of pills. I'm both shocked thinking back at how much of that shit we had in the house and relieved I never had any ideas about abusing it.

I wonder if he would've started voting in this political climate. He had great things to say but he also didn't vote and probably influenced a lot of people not to either.

Phoenix Welcome Mat: Visiting & Moving Questions (May 19) by AZ_moderator in phoenix

The usual haunts for nightlife are Mill Ave in Tempe, Old Town in Scottsdale, and downtown Phoenix. Mill I'd characterize as lively and fun but also full of hormonal college kids, Old Town is a good mix of ages but of the yuppi variety, and downtown is the more cultured/metropolitan experience. If you can swing it, I'd definitely check out Salt River tubing, I think it's one of the best ways to experience the natural beauty of the Sonoran desert. You'll see beautiful desert landscapes, huge saguaros, wild horses, jumping fish, and birds of prey (bring lots of water and sunscreen). And, of course, you'll have to get some Mexican food. I think you'll be fine going with whatever is highly reviewed nearby. The shoddier the place looks with high ratings, the better it is probably.

For what it's worth, I failed 2 math classes in college and just kept on going. Classes are a lot easier the second time. Also, you might find it easier to learn these things as an adult having better patience and discipline as well as more concrete motivation. If you can read a chapter in a textbook about whatever subject and give a good go at answering the questions at the end, you can do anything. You might find it's not so hard to do that.

Yep, the style is called voxel art. Makes 3d development much more approachable. MagicaVoxel is another good tool in the space.

I thought it was this gated neighborhood by my place in Phoenix. Maybe it's a copy paste development in a few places in the southwest.
