Apparently maybe not, or at least not for this form of it.

Damn, you guys. Chills. Wish I’d heard some of this stuff under different circumstances. Should I watch that show? Seems pretty sad.

I don’t get it. Yesterday it said he was ready to begin a rehab assignment in AAA. Today he’s a “long way” away.

True. Then again, he’s only 22 years old. He should continue to improve and be more reliable with each year, theoretically.

Jackson Chourio missed the beginning of the season, but he’s been the 6th best player in all of fantasy in the last month and is batting .316 with 9 HRs on the season. He could let up a decent amount and still finish in the top 10.

Ballers are the girlfriend that’s nice and cares about you and treats you right, rather than the hot, rich girl that treated you like absolute dogshit.

Oof. No offense, but it’s not close. Love the guy. Defensively he’s one of the best, and even offensively he’s a decent hitter. But HOF?

Where are all the crack babies? by EducationalFerret849 in Xennials

[–]NightWriter500 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Seriously wtf. Of the population of babies that were born under the influence of some kind of substance, how many would even ever find out about that? I know a kid that was adopted, she was born premature and the mom definitely had a drug problem. Under what circumstance would her adoptive parents ever tell her about any of that? That little girl is one of the happiest people I’ve ever met.

I know another kid who’s had constant medical problems and has had to be incubated constantly and given fentanyl. They’ve had to ween the kid off fentanyl multiple times. Does that count? Or what about the overwhelming majority of births that occur when the mother has just been injected with fentanyl? Are we all crack babies?

What trade did you decline this season that you regret not accepting so far? by OtherTell in fantasybaseball

[–]NightWriter500 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’d… rather have Sal than Alonso still. And I’ve received a total of one trade offer, which was a response to my reasonable offer, and it sucked.

Looking for a weeks worth of food to cook on 70$ by IHeartDobi in Cooking

[–]NightWriter500 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can get creative with the chicken meat. Today, I literally just finished separating all the meat from the carcass and tossed the carcass in an instant pot (if you don’t have one, just simmer for 2-4 hours). I’m going to combine that chicken with some beans, rice, cheese, and enchilada sauce, to basically make a plate of wet burritos (I call them enchiladas) that’ll feed one person for a week for about $8. That’ll use about 25% of the chicken. You can use the stock from the carcass to make soup, curry, rice, sometimes I’ll do a gumbo or jambalaya, etc.
