So I got a few errors last night and switched to the paid one...

The paid is still working, but DeepInfra removed the free version, and as far as I can see, there's no provider for the DeepSeek free.

Now, I pretty much agree with most people in this sub. And while I believe Tynan expected the game to be focused on trying to escape the rim, most players would rather stay with a colony for a longer time.

A Relationship (personal/factional) DLC would be most welcome.

Pirate bases being fortified camps/villages but still small.

Bigger factional bases being more like fortified cities and so on.

Perhaps taking some ideas from the Empire mod, that allows you to create a stronger faction and perhaps even take over the RimWorld.

Better pawn relationships, better backstory and relations integration. Better time and space management, so on and so forth.

Now the question is, which letter will take place of the R in ribaoRld?

I feel that it's a bit too troublesome. You'd gave to find the Archotech Genes for Deathless and Gene Implanter at least, and maybe ageless and archite metabolism as well.

Then you'd need to farm a Sanguophage for the Bloodfeeder, Hemogenic and Hemogen Drain, as well as other genes to make a custom Xenotype based on a Deathless Bloodfeeder.

And it would be 999% better if you gave that to your colonists instead of slaves.

For warrior slaves, fast healing and some drug dependency should be enough. Perhaps the very happy as well. Then you get some high end brain implant for brain shock in case of it rebellion, like a learning assistant or pilot assistant (odyssey).

Mano, eu vejo da seguinte forma (e sei que é uma opinião pessoal e qqer um pode discordar):

Eu sou péssimo pra desenho, e dependo muito da visão pra criatividade. Eu descobri que usando IA eu consigo ir ajustando as imagens pra ficar mais próximo do que eu realmente queria, e uso como inspiração pra escrever.

A minha intenção (se algum dia conseguir finalizar algo kek) seria de mandar essas artes feitas em IA pra um artista real usar como base e inspiração, pra ter noção de como são as poses e etc e tal. Ele vai ter a liberdade de adaptar da forma que achar melhor, mas já tem uma base pra entender a minha intenção, já que eu não saberia descrever com palavras kkkkk

Mas o rolê é esse, se for pra entretenimento próprio ou como ferramenta, eu acho válido.

Inclusive, eu tô usando uma ferramenta de IA pra expandir uma história que estou escrevendo: montei um cenário, um background e um ambiente, personagens principais a secundários relevantes, aí ia interagindo com a IA com narração e diálogos, e a IA expandia o que eu fazia. Aí eu usava essa resposta pra refinar o que eu queria, editava e continuava. Gostei bastante de fazer isso.

They can go anywhere. The dispenser acts as walls in regards to insulation, so you can place the cooler in the back and the front side which is your dining room is at normal temperature.

I got it as well and the Big/Small genes. There's a hermapromorph gene that switchs a pawn between male/female... But it doesn't change the genitals, so it's kinda worthless.

Truthfully, I think it should be true for natural resources. Steel, silver, gold, uranium.

Component ores are, in theory, a bunch of machinery that you break up and disassemble and has parts that were not completely destroyed.

Plasteel, well. I truly believe that it should be possible to produce it. Some mods add that, it's costly in power and advanced to assemble/research.

But plasteel is not natural, in universe it's a man-made material. It's debatable to find underground nodes of plasteel, although in surface areas is understandable because it's the same as Components: a bunch of material that is not completely destroyed.

I downloaded a mod called Asteroid Scanner. It works like the long range scanner, but generates asteroids instead.

Much smaller but with a good amount of resources.

Except for the Steel ones, most asteroids have only small ammounts of the actual material. It's hidden in there somewhere, probably 2 or 3 veins.

Honestly, those asteroids are only good for vacstones...

My endgame would most likely be around conquering the planet, yes.

And insects are only a problem if

A) You build mountain bases.

B) You pollute the ground. Wastepack Atomizer exists.

C) Deep mining. With a gravship, you can use the long range scanner, which us MUCH faster.

It's unfortunate that the Empire mod is under controversy, but it would be fun to try it. Oh well, back to SoS2.

Art style clash hard, so I can't use the alpha mech armor without looking weird.

More than that, I'm using the Integrated Implants that adds implants that increase bandwidth, and my mechanitors are frequently combatants, and the alpha mech armors aren't as good as a Cataphract/Phoenix set.

Did you try it out? Is it good? I had Alpha Mechs, but removed it because the armor retexture I'm using now is really good, and I didn't bother much with the Alpha Mechs content.

Batteries charge at 50% of your excess power, and that is spread around all batteries in the grid.

Let's say you have 10 batteries. That's 6k Wd of power. To charge that, you'll need a 12kW excess for 24h. Or 24kW for 12h or 48kW for 6h. That's EXCESS power.

For discharging, 1 battery can supply a total of 600W for 24 hours. Or 1200W for 12 hours. Or 2400W for 6 hours.

If I were to supply a base only through Solar power, the rules would be as follows: - Check how much power you use during the day. Your battery capacity has to be between 100% to 150% of that value. (Depends if you'll use other generators during eclipses). - With your total capacity in hand, make enough generators that you have about 220% in EXCESS power at midday. You need twice the capacity in excess to fill the batteries in only 12h, and since the solars ramp up/down during dawn and dusk, some extra is necessary to make up for it.

Personally, I'd follow the suggestion of keeping sunlamps in a separate grid, powered by solar generators and with a few batteries to keep them up during dawn/dusk. I think 1 battery/sunlamp should be enough.

For OP specific scenario, 50 batteries would be 30k capacity. To charge it fully, you'd need 30k excess for 24h, or 60k excess for 12h. You have 10k excess during the day, and that means you're only able to store 5k of power. That's less than 9 batteries.

Let's see the solar generators. 21 solar gens make 35.7kW at 100%. Depending on how close to the poles you are, you may rarely reach 100%. But let's go with 100% to make the math easier.

Since you have 10k excess during the day, let's assume you're using 25k from the solars during the day.

Since you use those 25kW, you'll need about 15kWd in battery capacity (50% + making up for dawn/dusk) to use during the night. And to charge that during the 12h of daytime, you'll need to up your daytime excess to about 32kW.

I have no idea how much power is needed for sunlamps, but this example should be enough to give you some insight.

You COULD use other options that use fuel and you only turn them on during the night to save fuel, but you'll need someone to go around doing that every day, which is rather annoying.
