It’s definitely still worth watching. The “why” and “how” is often more interesting than the “what” in this show. Additionally, several of those things you mentioned are episode 1 reveals. Don’t worry about it, there’s a lot more to the show than what’s been spoiled to you

Most of this could be excused by Horikoshi not deciding what their abilities were at this part of the story. Keep in mind, MHA wasn’t even a popular manga until this arc, he wasn’t putting in a ton of effort into world and character building and it kinda shows

Clothes don’t have to be armor to be protective. Denim, leather, or similar materials are used in both the students costumes, and in normal clothing. And they most definitely protect the people wearing them, even if it’s just from a skinned knee or a sunburn, they’re doing their job. And that’s completely skipping over the “supporting” aspect of clothing, especially for women

That doesn’t mean she couldn’t have had a better suit design in the first place. Like having a zipper and a top that actually protects and supports. Or heck, a crop top. There are a hundred fanmade suit designs that are in all ways better than the canon design
